บท 32: Held Captive

"Are you listening to me?" David snaps his finger in front of Sabrina and pulls her back out of her thoughts.

Sabrina pushes the umbrella so that David was also under cover from the drizzling rain.

"What a surprise? Ha-ha. Why are you here? I meanI didn't mean to be rude but you know all of a sudden, here. Ha-ha?"

"Are you all right Sabrina?' David leans closer and looks into her eyes and she immediately averts them with yet another silly laugh. She wasn't sure why was she acting this way.

Maybe her insecurities were making her even confuse, she wasn't sure what word she must put into her mouth to not sound like an idiot.

"Perfect. Never been better," Sabrina bites her lip and tries hard to match his stare. "So where have you been this whole day?" He eyes her before distancing away a little.

"Got stuck up with something important,"

Yeah? Like with your girl? In your arms? Held captive, were you?
