Laughing, talking about movies and tv-shows as they enjoyed their homemade dinner. They didn’t care how long it takes them to finish dinner. They took their time. Enjoying each other's company.

A sudden feeling of familiarity appeared in Wang Yi-An’s mind, because she used to do all these things with her Mother Wang, all the time. Spending time with Mother Cheung makes her think about her biological mother, Mother Wang.

And Mother Cheung knew whenever Wang Yi-An thinks about her mother. She stopped eating and put her chopstick down to ask Wang Yi-An. “You missing your mother?”

Wang Yi-An was forcing her smile as she slightly shook her head. But Mother Cheung knew she wasn’t being honest. “You don’t have to lie to me, Xiao-An. She’s your mother. You can miss her.”
