บท 54: Lovers and Visitors

  It had been tough seventy-two hours, for Aryaman Vardhan, sitting in the white house while his Myra was in danger. He could do nothing but wait for news – good news. He hung by his phone for the major part of the day. He would jump at any call. 

He was constantly in touch with Sanchit, Kevin and his friend Vinay. His own security adviser was investigating at his end. 

72 hrs. of sleepless, purposeless living ended with the worst news ever. Myra was found in the worst of condition, and now she had slipped into a semi-comatose state. 

His heart leapt to his mouth. "She can't do this to me." – was the first thought in his mind. "She can't break her promise. She has to live for me." 

He decided to go to her, to confront her and bring her back with him. He applied for leave from the office and made travel arrangements to Paris.
