บท 35: Chapter 35: A Demon!
" Arthus, Jaya.... leave no one alive. "
These cold words were heard by everyone present. The chill from Adam was spreading from the area and everyone can't help but stop on their actions.
The scene, it was like a stop button was pressed and everyone just froze in place.
But later on, a boisterous laugh from Gerald broke the silence.
" Hahahaha! A mere child like you dares to say such bold words? Maybe I should let you know what real pain is for you to learn your lessons. " Gerald said while laughing like he heard the world's greatest joke.
Ha, he is a tier 3 evolutionary. Even if he had not awaken, he is still someone these weak people could not scare.
Although he saw those skeletons earlier and know that there might be an awakened among them, but so what?
They can only be tier 2 at most!
He, a tier 3 along with his people with tier 1 and tier 2 strength will back off from the words of this kid?

" Since the master had decreed, then please lay your lives here. " Jaya said as she walk in front.
The rest of the hooligans seeing how delicate and cute Jaya is can't help but had some dirty thoughts on them.

Gerald hearing his subordinates act outrageously can't help but only grin and give a dirty look.

Jaya seeing everything unfold had a cold expression on her cute face.

The dirty men hearing the words of the little girl can't help but get a little excited.

" I really want to play with you but my master is in a bad mood. Therefore, Jaya shall eliminate you people without delay. " Jaya said as she pulled out her arms making a fountain of blood burst out from the man's chest as she rip his heart out.
The Jaya standing in front of the crowd is slightly different before. She had eyes as red as blood and her hands had become pitch black where her nails had become razor sharp.
" Your blood is really dirty. Maybe I should not kill you people like this. " Jaya said as she watch her dirty hand.
" [ Demon's Blood Sea ]. " she said indifferently while her eyes are filled with disdain.
Suddenly, the blood on Jaya's hand was removed on her hand and floated above her head making a spiral shape blood sea.
Even the man who had his heart penetrated suddenly convulsed and the blood on his body was sucked dry turning the flesh into a dried up corpse and the blood gathers at the blood sea above.
Everyone seeing this phenomenon happening can't help but froze in fear.
Even Gil and the rest can't help but felt a little scared of Jaya at the present.
They had always known that Jaya is not a normal maid but seeing her act like this leaves a huge impact on their minds.
' The little cutie always hovering around boss, what happened to her? '
Everyone can't help but swallow.
" Now then, Sir Arthus, leave these people to me. I am angry and I need to vent some steam. " Jaya said as she took another step towards the impudent hooligans who dare to attack her master's people.
" Don't... disgrace the.. [ lord ]. " Arthus can only said these words seeing how determined the maid is.
The skeletons that was blasted out earlier even stood up again and their bodies didn't have any cracks at all.
Arthus then let all these skeletons encircle the vile people to stop anyone from escaping.
" D-dont come near me!! K-kill her! Kill her! " Gerald seeing the maid who suddenly turned into a bloodthirsty maid was scared at the moment. He tried to run to the back and let his subordinate face the demon.
He must save his life!
He never expected that the little girl they all thought was a demon herself.
" Running now? Sorry, I can't let you do that. You can never escape death. "
Suddenly Jaya move and her speed was so fast that no one can react. She just suddenly vanished on the spot and appeared right next to Gerald who is running for his life.
" I told you, you must lay your life here. "
Gerald hearing these words on his ears wanted to turn and look to beg for forgiveness. But he was never given a chance.
His head was separated from his body and from there, his blood was sucked dry and gathered at the blood sea.
In just a couple of seconds, the once mighty Gerald become a dried up corpse without any signs of power like before.
" Now, lets clean up all these trashes. "
The rest of the Gerald's people who heard Jaya suddenly felt that death just whispered those words on their ears instead.
" R-r-run!!! She's a demon! "
" Ahhhhhh!!!! "
" P-please spare us! "
Jaya hearing the scream and plea of these people was indifferent.
Her master is in disoriented state of mind at the moment due to what happened to Anna. As a servant, it is her duty to eliminate those who dares to hurt the [ lord ].
" You can just ask forgiveness as your soul burn in hell. "
Her movement are so fast that these people can't stop it at all. Everywhere Jaya goes a head would fall regardless of what tier.
She is like someone not reaping human heads but like plucking fruits.
There are more than a dozen people who ambushed them but right now, everyone was lying on the ground without an intact body.
Their corpse are all dried up and their severed heads are unrecognizable.
" Insolent humans, this is the price of offending the [ lord ]. " Jaya said as she give a final look on the massacre she made.
As a creature of the Abyss, this scene is pretty common for her. She had been bathed by blood for a long time and seeing this scene pose no difficulty to her or even an ounce of guilt.
She may act naive and cute in her master's presence but whenever she is needed by the [ lord ], never forget that she herself is also a demon from the Abyss.
Demons are one of the highest existence in the Abyss. Each person who bears the title of 'demon' possess unimaginable power and status in their realm.
Jaya then stepped on Adam's direction, kneeled and touch the cold and grief stricken face of her master.
" Master, everything is alright. Jaya had already disposed of them. " Jaya said in a coaxing tone as she give her sweetest smile to Adam.
Adam didn't reply nor even looked up, he just continued to heal Anna's injury.
Arthus on the side seeing how Jaya had left all the bodies lying around evoked the flame of the abyss and turned all corpses into ashes.
Even the blood sea from Jaya condensed inyo a small drop and merges with Jaya's body.
Everyone was silent. Even Gil didn't dare to interrupt seeing that Adam is not okay.
As for Jaya's demonic side, they had long known that their boss is a summoner and Jaya and Arthus are part of his summons.
So, it is not that unbelievable that Jaya possess powerful abilities.
Jaya may only be tier 3 but her combat effectiveness crosses a tier. If she is in her demonic form, she even have the qualifications to fight with Arthus.
For them, Adam is really powerful but they had not forgotten a crucial fact. Adam is still young and maybe experiencing something like this is not something he is used to.
After a few hours, Adam finally returned to his senses and finished healing Anna.
Anna is pretty much okay and no scars are even left on her body. Seeing her like this, it was like she had never been on the verge of death before.
But Anna is currently unconscious because of the lack of energy.
Adam who finally had his head back to normal can't help but reevaluate the world he is currently in.
In here, not only zombies are dangerous. Even humans are a threat to one's survival.
" We will rest here for the day and let Anna recover her energy naturally. Gil find a place for us to stay. " Adam instructed.
Adam is powerful without a doubt. Even his summons are very extraordinary.
