Sol walked for hours, slowly building a map of the forest in his mind. Three rabbits are tied to his belt, waiting to be roasted over the fire.
Just when he's about to find a place to rest, a human appears in his range. He frowns slightly and slowly moves forward, wondering if they tracked him down already.
A total of five people are gathered in one place, standing around what he can only assume to be a table. Getting closer, he can hear their conversation.
"Boss this is a Devil Fruit right?!? Are you going to eat or sell it??"
"Eat?!? Only a fool will eat it. I heard a guy gained the ability to stretch his fingers. He tried to use it to fight but got his fingers cut off instead. If I sell it, I can get a 100 million Beli minimum."
"How are we going to sell it? If the Urua bandits will attack us if they get wind of it."
"Hmph! When have we been afraid of Urua and them?!? Don't they just have a few more people?"
"Boss, we ran from them last week when we tried to rob that transport from Glenbar Village."
"Fool! Once we have the money we can expand. Why would we fear them then?"
"Devil fruit?" Sol can't help but fall into contemplation after hearing them.
Devil fruits are a great way to gain power. As he is now, he can walk past a devil fruit hanging on a tree and never know.
Even if he knows where the thunder fruit is, will he ask for help to find it? What fool would give it to him? This may be his only chance to get a devil fruit easily.
He never even worried if the ability was useless or not. It's better to have it and not need it, the weakness is negligible.
Running his hand along the wall, he feels that it's made of wood. Drawing his sword, he remembers the feeling when he cut those men down before.
Sol slashes out four times, leaving a silver streak as the sword chops through the air. The first cut slices through the wall like paper; His arm seems to jerk as he makes the last three slashes.
Kicking the wall, it falls inward making a big square hole.
"Wha!?"
"Who?"
"What?!?"
The bandits are surprised at Sol's sudden big movement. He jumps through the hole with his cutlass in hand. Before he even lands, he's already chopping down at one of the men.
The sword seems to slip through the man and divides him in two.
"John!" The bandits draw their swords and pull their pistols.
Sol can sense all of their movement as his sword draws another beautiful arc. Another bandit falls as they finally point their guns at him.
The moment the bandit pulls the trigger, Sol tilts to the side and the bullet passes by him.
He could sense the intent behind the attack, knowing exactly where the bandit was going to shoot. As the bullet carried his will he could sense it as well.
"Incredible, if I had this before I wouldn't have died." He mumbles to himself as he cleaves through another bandit.
"Who are you?!? Who sent you!" The last two bandits step back with their guns still facing him.
"This body is too weak, I can't move fast enough to kill you all instantly." He can't help frown at how stiff this body is. The joints feel like cement which makes his attacks slow. If he forced it he might damage his body.
"Bastard I'm talking to you!" Seeing Sol ignore him, the bandit fires the gun.
Sol just lifts his sword and slices the bullet in two. He could already deflect bullets before, now he can do it as easily as breathing.
Taking a step forward he brings his sword across and kills another bandit. The last bandit starts to shake and drops his gun.
"Please, I have a family! Don't kill me, I'll do whatever you want." The bandit looks at Sol as though he was a demon. The blood covering his clothes now matches the crusted blood on his face.
Sol doesn't even bother to answer as he plunges the sword into his chest. The amount of people who've begged him for their lives is endless. No sob story can move him from killing his target.
He draws out his blade and flicks off the blood.
Sheathing his sword, he makes his way to the table they stood in front of. He feels around with his hand until he hits something.
Picking up the fruit, his hand runs over it to feel how different it is. It feels smooth to the touch, has two leaves that seem to curl, and has a long protruding stem that comes to a point.
"Here goes nothing." His mouth opens wide and the scars on his face start to crack. Blood streams down his face as he bites into the fruit.
The taste is so unsavory but he doesn't care. The whole fruit is cleanly eaten, leaves and all.
Immediately, he feels a power awakening in his body and he knows what the fruit is. "Mythical Zoan, Human Human fruit, Model: Incubus."
Two curved black horns grow from the side of his head, large black bat-like wings grow from his back, and a slender tail with an arrowhead tip extends from his lower spine.
His nails become sharp and his canine teeth become fangs. In his new incubus form, he can feel that his strength, speed, stamina, and nerve reflex time has dramatically boosted.
His tail begins to sway and his wings fold close to his body. Surprisingly, he can move them as easily as his arms right away.
"Incredible, is this the power of a devil fruit?" Looking at his hand, it's no longer a blue outline but purple.
He already knows what the extra abilities of the Incubus fruit are. They have to do with lust and charm. Everything depends on how he develops it from there, just like a paramecia devil fruit.
The advantage is he knows everything about an Incubus, so it should be easy. Walking out of the cabin he notices his haki range has doubled.
In his range, he can even sense the sexual desires of animals. He shifts his attention away and spreads his wings. With a flap, a gust of air is blown forward.
Because this wind carries his intent, he can sense it. The wind hits the trees and scatters through the forest until it completely diffuses. Everything the wind touched is transmitted into his mind like sonar, creating a 3D map of the forest.
His lips curl upwards and expose his sharp teeth. Folding his wings in, he gently moves them to produce wind while moving forward.
Using this to see where he's going allows him to navigate better and train his haki.
Finding a quiet place, he collects some sticks and starts a fire. While a few rabbits roast over the fire, he realizes he has to change his plan.
Now that he has a devil fruit, he knows how to better plan his future. The one thing he has on his side is time. He knows a lot of key points for the next fifty years.
Eating one rabbit after another, he puts out the fire and strikes while the iron is hot. He starts by stretching his body.
Once he feels a little limber, he starts shadow boxing. His fist and kicks cut through the air. Every time he punches, haki covers his fist.
Time passes and sweat begins stinging the scars on his face. Running to a tree, he jumps and flips through the air. His tail swings around and hooks a branch of the tree.
Pulling himself up first, he then performs a sit-up before lowering himself back down. Sweat drips to the ground and his body twitches, but he continues moving like a machine.
When he can't do anymore, his tail lets go and his body spins in the air. Landing on his feet, he immediately starts doing burpees.
Every day for two weeks, he moves throughout the island and finds different places to train his body. Using rocks for weights, he slowly built up strength and improved his body.
Never leaving Incubus form, he's already mastered his ability to fly and mapped the entire island.
Sitting on a large boulder by the river, he looks vastly different than he did before. His bloody clothes have been thrown away, leaving only a pelt to wrap his waist.
His body no longer looks frail and now has muscle lines. His face looks more beautiful than before with two blood-red scars going across his eyes.
While the mythical zoan fruit has brought him amazing healing abilities, he can't fix his damaged eyes.
Taking the last bite of fish, he tosses the stick into the water. Besides training these two weeks, he finally felt what it's like to live for himself.
When he gets revenge against the royal family for Sol, he'll finally be free.
Wanting to remove the last shackle from his mind he knows the time is ripe.
Spreading his wings, with one flap he shoots into the air. Under the cloak of darkness, he flies towards the Capital.
It doesn't take long before he reaches the airspace above the city. To him, the entire city is covered in a haze of purple and pink mist. The lust and desire from the people below are so strong it makes him feel intoxicated.
Flying straight to the castle, he instantly locks on a certain room. From there he can feel the strongest lust radiating in the entire castle.
Wind from his wings blows across the castle, revealing its majestic design before him. Towering spires and arched roofs, huge windows, and carefully crafted sculptures. Enough to put any cathedral in his last life to shame.
He glides between the spires until he reaches an area of the castle no one is in. Hovering in front of the window, he reaches out with his nails and carves out a small circle.
With a slight push, the glass falls inside. Reaching in, he unlocks the window and opens it. Once inside, he blows some wind to find out where he is.
The room slowly appears in his mind and he realizes it's a library. Moving towards the door he opens it and arrives in a long hall.
As he walks forward the wind spreads further and the map in his mind becomes more complete. The castle only has a total of twenty people inside.
The King, Queen, Prince, Princess, ten other females, and six males. He assumes they are maids and butlers because their aura is very weak. All the guards are outside the castle and patrolling the town.
After moving around for a bit, he's already figured everything out. The King and Queen are in the same room. The Prince and Princess have their own room. The butlers or male servants have their own rooms. Only the female servants or maids are in rooms of two.
After thinking he decides not to start with the royal family first.
Sol opens a door leading to two maids and walks inside. He wants to test the abilities of his fruit.
