As Kage, Gisele, Snake Eyes, Heavy Duty, Scarlett, and Breaker observed from the other side of the interrogation room watching everything was soon unfold.
As Breaker decided to show more information before the interrogation, he summoned the holographic projection of Vesper Lynd and another Algerian man, the room fell into a hushed silence. With meticulous precision, he unraveled the tangled web of deceit.
"They kidnapped her boyfriend," Breaker began, his voice cutting through the air like a knife. "He was Algerian. They met when she was on vacation. He was abducted, and they blackmailed her, threatening to kill him unless she cooperated with them. They were trying to lure her into their mission, but that failed. We do have doubts about whether he was involved in it."
As Breaker unveiled a picture of a drowned man, his face grotesquely disfigured. "Vesper's boyfriend, Yusef Kabira," he continued, each word heavy with gravity. "The one she was trying to save. His body was washed up on a beach in Ibiza."
Scarlett's voice cut through the somber atmosphere, her disbelief palpable. "We're meant to believe the fish did that to his face? His wallet and ID were in his pocket."
Kage's nod mirrored the skepticism in the room. "Well, that's convenient," he remarked dryly.
Breaker affirmed the suspicion with a solemn nod, while Heavy Duty's voice resonated with conviction. "Which is why I conducted a DNA check on a lock of his hair found in Vesper's apartment. That's not him."
Kage hummed and muttered,"I will look into it."
In the dimly lit interrogation room, the atmosphere crackled with tension. La Grange, Roadblock, General Hawks, and Lady Jaye stood like silent sentinels, their gazes fixed on the lone figure seated before them: Mr.White.
General Hawks' steely gaze bore into Mr. White, who sat unfazed, hands bound, a calm smirk playing on his lips.
Roadblock, a mountain of a man, dragged a chair across the floor with a menacing scrape, his presence alone enough to send shivers down spines. He settled into it, locking eyes with Mr. White, the air thick with anticipation.
"Are you going to tell us who you work for?" Roadblock's voice boomed, cutting through the silence like a blade.
Mr. White's smile was almost mocking. "I was always very interested to meet you. I'd heard so much about your agency. We tried to get our men inside, but couldn't."
General Hawks interjected with calculated precision. "Let me guess, you tried to insert Vesper Lynd then, but don't worry, we have her in custody."
A flicker of surprise crossed Mr. White's face before he regained his composure. "It is a real shame. We would have had you, too."
"We have methods," General Hawks continued, his tone unwavering, "that would lead you to divulge the information we seek. And the longer it takes, the more excruciating we'll make it."
Mr. White's laughter filled the room, echoing off the walls. "You really don't know anything about us. It's so amusing because we are on the other side, thinking, 'oh, the MI6, the CIA, or Joes, they're looking over our shoulders. They're listening to our conversations.' And the truth is, you don't even know we exist!"
General Hawks smirked, "We may not know about MI6 or the CIA, but the Joes knew of your existence. We know your ideology, we even know that your organization has a parent organization too."
As Mr. White's facade of composure wavered, his words dripped with defiance. "Just because you found a small piece of information about us doesn't mean you can take us down... oh... the first thing you should know about us is that we have people everywhere."
Before the weight of his statement could fully settle, an officer burst into the room, breaking the tension. All eyes turned towards him, the air thick with anticipation.
"We've just received orders from the top," the officer announced, his voice carrying a sense of urgency. "It seems they know about White's arrest, and there's immense pressure to transfer him to Underground delta prison in Colorado for interrogation. MI6, CIA, and IMF are all pushing for his release into their custody."
Kage sighed and thought,"I had doubts about this."
A grimace twisted General Hawks' features, his mind racing with the implications of the news. Meanwhile, Mr. White's smirk only deepened, a silent challenge echoing in his gaze.
