บท 43: Chapter 43: Face Reveal

“What do you mean prove myself? How am I supposed to prove myself? What do you want? And who are you to come here and start talking loudly and barking orders?” Kai was more yelling than arguing at that point.

Hugh Merton didn’t seem very calm himself, either:

“Prove that you’re not working with the dirt side of Durbither! You could be turning a blind eye just to get the money! Who are you working with? Ian? Tyler? Marta?”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about!”

After saying it, Kai realized that sentence brought that way was very suspicious even though it was true.

“Hey!” Anua said low but firmly.

“Yeah…” Hugh Merton agreed.

At first, Kai didn’t understand, but then he felt a little bit of orgaion. The attention of the drew was drawn to the room that led to the corridor.

Carlsen came with his big smile once again:

“Please, I know you are working, but… It’s late and there are people trying to sleep…”

“You… You were not here.” Merton said. “Where did you come from?”
