บท 5: Beautiful Distant Cousin
Note: Please note that this is the very first Novel I started publishing on WebNovel platform. It is an entry for the contest with the theme of "An Overpowered Male Lead who had cultivated to the highest level and is looking for a new challenge."

It was about 6:30 PM when he left Yao Wei. He then called up Xu Jie and asked about the task.
"Is the appointment fixed?" J B asked.
Xu Jie replied, "Yes big brother."
J B: "Good. Now, I have transferred some money online to you. Buy a decent business suit using that, shave and then take a taxi to meet at the parking lot of the Tiandu University. I am going to meet my cousins there. You will act as my driver today. And don't call me Big brother in front of my cousins. They will be confused. Call me Mr Jiang. A black Audi Car with license plate XXXXX will be in the parking lot. Whoever asks say it's a company car and that I am a popular author."
"Ok big brother"
"Hey!"
"Sorry, as you say Mr Jiang".
"So Good." Then he hung up the call.
He used Stealth and then instantly teleported to Tiandu University, entered the canteen and then called up Lin WanRui.
"Hello"
"Hello?"
"Hey its me Jiang. How are you cousin?"
"Jiang? You still have the nerve to call me? Do you know how much trouble you have caused for uncle and aunt? Do you know how much they are worried about you? You even lost your job and have become a hooligan!" She spoked in breath without even stopping."
"Wanrui, listen to me. I called up to apologize and clear some misunderstanding. I am sorry ok?"
"What misunderstanding?"
"I am not unemployed. I have a great job."
"You dare to lie to me?"
"How can I dare? I really have a great job and I can prove it. In fact I am at the Tiandu University. I am here to invite you to dinner and clear the misunderstanding. Also, invite your roommate."

"Please, once you come, I will be able to explain, its difficult to do on the phone. Also, let me speak to your roommate."
"Why?"

Ma Shuyuan laughed and asked, "Fine, what do I have to do?"
"Its nothing big. Both of just dress up and meet me at the canteen. Also, make sure to wear your best dresses – the classy ones, nothing fancy or seductive. Wanrui's beauty naturally attracts attention, so its better to avoid any trouble."
"Hey what the hell are you saying?" Wanrui shouted.
J B smiled and said, "Huh? Don't you already have many pursuers? Some sincere, some annoying some evil second gen sons too. Even if they decided to gang up on me, I can handle. But what if they caused trouble for you? I don't want that!"
"Oh! I didn't know you cared for her so much!" Ma Shuyuan interjected.
"Of course I do. Didn't I say she is my childhood friend. She is important to me! Anyway, meet me at 7:15 in the canteen."
Wanrui blushed. Ma Shuyuan smiled and said, "Fine we will meet you there."

J B was waiting at the canteen. He was wearing a Tuxedo and looked very handsome. Many passer-by glanced at him a few times. He got a call from Xu Jie who said he bought a decent suit and sent a pic. He was satisfied with what he saw, and asked Xu Jie to hurry over.
It was only at 7:30 when Lin Wanrui and Ma Shuyuan entered the canteen. Shuyuan was wearing a black dress and looked very pretty. Wanrui was wearing a purple dress and looked very beautiful as always. Their entrance attracted attention and hot gazes but luckily there were very few people in the canteen right now.
J B was sitting in the centre wearing a tuxedo. Although Wanrui and Shuyuan saw him, they couldn't relate him to J B they knew. Understanding the situation J B laughed and then waving his hand and raising his voice called out, "Hey Wanrui, I am here. Your cousin has come to see you, you can't even recognize him? That's too sad you know."
Both Wanrui and Shuyuan looked at him and were dumbfounded. Although they were curious about the gentleman sitting in the canteen but he did not match with the J B's image they had in their minds. Shuyuan elbowed Wanrui and they started walking slowly towards him and sat infront of him. J B smiled and asked, "How have you been?"
"Are you really brother Jiang?" Wanrui asked.
"Hey! What do you mean? If not Jiang, who else? Its one thing you can't recognize my appearance since its changed a bit, but you should be able to recognize my voice, right?"
"Changed a bit? Its like you are a completely different person! You didn't look this handsome before"
"Hey, what do you mean? I looked ugly? Do you want me to be ugly? Aren't we cousins? If you are this beautiful, why can't I be handsome?"
Wanrui's face turned red.
Ma Shuyuan chuckled and said, "Ok, why have you called us here?"
"Obviously to clear up the misunderstanding. Anyway its too crowded here. Me meeting you two dressed up beauties has started to get unnecessary attention. People have started taking pics, it will get troublesome soon. Lets get out of here."
"Where are we going?" asked Ma Shuyuan.
"Parking lot and then to dinner." J B replied casually.
"Ok let's go." Wanrui's somewhat excited voice was heard.
The three of them arrived at the Parking lot. J B took them near the car and then called up Xu Jie.
"Where are you?"
Xu Jie: "Just arriving at the parking lot."
J B: "Ok, I am waiting near the Car with two of my friends."
Both Wanrui and Shuyuan were puzzled.
"Who did you call?" asked Shuyuan.
"Who else? My driver. I had given him some errands to run for me. The car is parked here, but can't use that for personal errands you know! Its a company car. So asked him to take a taxi." J B lied.
He had become adept at acting. In the previous timeline the System had offered him various skills like of which he had acquired one - 'God of Gambling'.
He hadn't about skills like "God of Acting" or "Good of Cooking" but this time he could use any of those. Because he has mastered both fate and destiny. He is the true Supreme.
Xu Jie: "Mr Jiang I am apologize for being late."
"Oh it's not your fault. I gave you the task at the last minute. Anyway, these are my cousins. She is Lin Wanrui and she is Ma Shuyuan. In the future you might have to pick them and chauffer them around. Treat them with the same respect as me, and if anybody troubles them, inform me immediately."
"Yes Sir."
Then J B turned to Wanrui and Shuyuan and said, "I know you have many questions, I will explain everything once we arrive at the restaurant. Till then, I have many things to ask you as well. Ok then, lets go!"
Xu Jie took the driver seat while them took the back seat. Wanrui seemed to be a little uncomfortable, while Shuyuan quickly adapted. J B asked them a few casual questions. He knowingly directed more questions to Shuyuan.
They finally arrived at a decent 3 star restaurant. J B successively tipped the Bell Boy and the Waiter and got himself a good corner table.
"Ok, lets sit and order something first. Chose anything you like, don't care about the money. It will take some time to prepare. During which I will explain the situation."
The two ladies then ordered. They didn't order the most expensive or the most expensive ones. They just ordered the most common ones.
"So, why did you invite us here?" Shuyuan asked.
"Well I asked Wanrui to apologize and clear the misunderstanding. As for Ms Shuyuan… you are here to keep Wanrui from exploding. You see, she can't handle her emotions around me. When she's angry, she is scary. I am afraid of being beaten!" J B teased.
"What did you say? I can't control my emotions? I am scary?" Wanrui raised her voice a bit.
"Ms Shuyuan, you see this is how it begins. Now I am going to explain a few things, but I am afraid as soon as I say something, she will start shouting again. So I need you to keep her calm during the time I explain.
I guarantee you she will be very happy at the end of the explanation. It's just that she might not believe the things I say, so I have also arranged for some proofs. If you go through them, the misunderstanding will be clear."
"Ok fine. Start speaking." Wanrui said. She was clearly angry.

J B knew, she didn't mean any disrespect. She was just frustrated.

VishalGupta Please note that 'Big Brother, Little Sister' etc. are just forms of addressing people who are similar in age but a bit younger or older. It has no blood-relationship whatsoever. A subordinate in Gangs also calls his Boss Boss 'Big Brother' and Lady Boss 'Big Sister'
Many Asian languauges like Chinese, Japanese & Korean have some generic words for them like 'Oppa', 'Oraboni' 'Unnie', 'Noona', 'Noonim', 'Hyung', 'Onii chan', 'Onee chan', 'Senpai' & 'Kouhai' etc. However, English does not. If you read Manga, Manhwa or Manhua you already know it.
So do not get confused when two people addressing each other as Big Brother & Little Sister start making out or making love ;)
