Excellent novel, a shame it was abandoned...................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Sorry to say but I just couldn't keep reading this. I like the idea behind the story but overall it just seems too rushed. Writing quality is pretty good but story development and world background are abysmal. Story development wouldn't be THAT bad but unfortunately, the author seems too rushed. He doesn't properly explain his power, makes his cultivation too fast (MC broke through bronze and silver rank in 1 cultivation session each), and seems to have very little knowledge of how cultivation works in TDG world in the first place. Author has, for some unknown reason, sectioned cultivation techniques off into ranks (i.e. bronze, silver, gold, black-gold, and legend) which means that the MC has to pick a new cultivation technique seemingly for every level (I could be wrong but that is how it is explained). Overall, the biggest issue is just with how rushed the story is. The pacing is WAAAY too fast.

Hai penulis, aku harus mengucapkan selamat karena pengembangan cerita ini sangat mengasyikkan untuk diikuti. Ada banyak prespektif mengenai karakter Shen Yue, banyak yang menggambarkan nya mirip dengan Draco dari HP. Tapi prespektif mu dalam cerita cukup baru dan baik. Aku tidak sabar untuk menunggu kelanjutan dari cerita ini. Terimakasih telah menulis.

this tales of demon and god fanfiction is way better than other fic that I had read. this fanfiction is must read in my opinion so five star from me
I'm giving everything a 5 stars except the updating stability... I'm giving it a 3 stars instead. Man please updates this story is so good so addicting so epic and Shen Yue having the good personality man... Thats awesome
The story is very rushed in it's pacing but the critical flaw in its telling is that it lacks all of the face-slapping that TDG and LOHP were built around. The MC really needs some problems to solve. The MC just seems to accomplish everything with a hand-wave. Make him suffer or the story will be lackluster. You need to add in worries and misunderstandings from Shen Yue's friends to create Conflict in the MC's relationships. With Shen Yue's decision to randomly go incognito you need to create random a**holes who will try to pick on Shen Yue so the MC can get a good curbstomp in, violent conflict. Conflict and more conflict! What's the point of being a Gary Stu if no one can put up a fight, damn it?!

Okay so here's the gist of it; -There isn't much misspelling though there could have been some explanation for some words and the technicalities for those who don't know 'Tales of Demons and Gods' and 'Library of Heaven's Path'. -The updates where consistent except for the last month, though I don't blame the author cause' it probably has something to do with life. -The development of the story is good, though the plot and relationship could have been slowed down or started differently, its still amazing nonetheless. -The characters description that the author provides is a bit lacking though it could be worse, at least you could have described their clothing and/or features. -The Background is still quite the same as the original so an average score is given Overall I think the story is good enough for people to read. It is enjoyable and interesting on how the MC does things as Shen Yue and tries to get strong and survive. This is the second ToDaG fan-fiction that I have read and it doesn't fall far behind it either in terms of being enjoyable.(The first one is titled 'Transmigrated in Tales of Demons and Gods' by Wise_Snail)
I'm ecstatic. Such good fanfiction is rare. Had a great time thanks to the author.To be honest, in the beginning I had no hope for the plot, but the author did a very good job and there are almost no logical holes.

This Fanfic was great the mc is an reincarnated villain who never really had relevance later on the story. The author completely changed his fate and I like the mc's attitude and he is likeable. Overall good story

while it have good concepts and the logic behind on this fanfic is good enough i think there many thing can make it better, the mc here is hypocrite while he not the mc here he act and do think that any mc from xianxia do. is more like a recap of TODG than and fanfic for me, basicaly search important even than change it with him as MC. there barely any conversation in chapter, most of chapter contain a sort explanation what he do and there barely telling of the affect he done to the plot except what he planned to do. there no any important fight or training detail but more like heaven library and instant power up mention in some couple sentence. the character is is barely feel there because the character interaction is almost none only the result of what MC do. there no struggle at all what i see is just mc try to change the plot but there nothing change in timeline as he start to changing many thing. he change the result but there no significant change in future even.

This story is just ok. When is say ok i mean it's just average. There is no story development outside of skimming the main plot points, 0 character development for any characters, og mc has regressed from ultimate big brain to a petty child just to create tension to see if the Si mc and him will fight/ steal Og mc's girl, the plot is impossible to understand unless you are reading or have read what the original story which is not that bad but comes off as lazy and is confusing unless you can naturally fill in the gaps between the months worth of time that are covered in just a couple of chapters Conclusion: 4/10 would recommend to someone looking for popcorn entertainment that remember most of the original story
