She didn't know how she felt hearing that coming from someone else apart from Aria who usually teased her jokingly; especially someone who's one of Leo's friends. Has Leo said anything about it to his friends, about her? Should she be happy or should she be angry that he's spreading rumors like these without first talking to her about it.

Deciding to go with neither happy nor angry approach Alaina took his hand to shake, "Not his girl but yeah I'm Alaina," she smiled back at him.

"Nice to meet you. And I'm sorry I didn't mean to…" he drawled awkwardly. "It's just, I saw you guys together a lot so I thought-" he shrugged.

"No, it's okay. And yeah I've seen you with him before too," Alaina politely tried making things less awkward now.

"Thanks. So you girls going to the homecoming this saturday?" He changed the topic quickly; though the way he did it looked like he already had it in his mind.
