This was the only being that was able to properly handle the insane amount of darkness elemental mana that Shade had. Even then, it would come at a high price for Mordant since he was still not able to handle a grand elemental spirit that had incredibly dense elemental mana stored over the course of thousands of years more than Mordant had lived.
