He was not even finished yet when Artie was conquered by the urge to actually slap his arm and whine: "I mean the sword, you goofball!"

Stunned, Callum took a few more seconds to recover. He then gripped the sword's scabbard tightly before bowing down again. "I am terribly sorry, milady! My elation had numbed my mind! I didn't mean to humiliate you, milady! Then again..."—he raised his eyes—"this sword is..."

"Yep. A family heirloom." Artie cleared her pout from earlier and reached out her hand again. "With a royal territory, you wouldn't need an ordinary sword as an heirloom anymore. Can I have it?"
