Thus, Foud appeared with his knees sunk in the snow, which Kin held with one hand on his thighs. Also, the wind whistling violently in his ears caught him off guard for a moment as the snow settled on his uncovered head. Dazed, he snapped out of his thoughts when a hand suddenly rested on his shoulder.

"Foud!" he heard screaming.

The lightning god looked at Day's uncle in front of him and, without knowing why his nerves suddenly cracked. The child was taken from his hands without the god being able to say a word, his heart pounding in his chest. When Grand Master Louis put his hand on his shoulder, his crying became loud.

"We have to go home. Hypothermia is going to win you over," the vampire whispered before seeing his father step forward.
