Escorted by Crissa and Bruce, Hailey followed them toward the elevator and went down to the lobby to wait for the car.

Hailey was walking toward the door; her phone rang. She takes out her phone from her purse and checks the caller; it was Vince. With a smile on her lips, she answers the call with joy. 

"Hey! Are you done having dinner?" she asked. 

"I was in the middle of it when Janise texted me." 

"Oh…" she had an idea what Janise told Vince. 

"So… Is mom nice to you now? Tell me if she insulted you. Don't keep it a secret to me." he said, and his voice was worried. Hailey could sense it.

"Silly. Don't worry. I have known your mom now. Even though she hates me, she does nothing scandalous in public. Your mom is more concerned about her image than making a scene, especially in front of the mass media which were everywhere."
