"I still don't know much about Hua Liu as a person. And probably will never know if I'm just staying in my bed. So, why don't I just take a stroll?" I thought as I stepped foot off my bed and walked towards the door. However, what Isaw was much different from what I expected. The stark contrast between my room and the rest of the house baffled me. If my room looked like a princess' room, the rest of the house looked piss poor.
With this I came into a simple conclusion; either I was pampered so much by my parents that they built me an extravagant room even though I didn't want it or I'm an arrogant bitch who just wants to live in luxury no matter how others around me are. Well, I learned pretty quickly that option number two was the right one from the scornful look that the lone servant in the household threw at me. The look more or less conveyed the following message- Why didn't you die, bitch? This household will be much better with you out of the picture. Look what you did to your parents and your adorable brother. You let them suffer! They shouldn't be the one to suffer though, you are!
Of course! What did I expect? I did side with the villainess. However, I did expect a tragic backstory about how the villainess used me like a servant and forcefully made me embarrass the heroine in the graduation ceremony. But guess what, I'm just straight up trash.
Anyway, even though the servant hates me dearly, I don't think that the tears I saw from my family are fake. Those were real for sure. So, rather than typecasting myself into a trash, I believe I'll typecast myself into a spoiled trash.
"I don't think I should walk any further." I kinda knew what the situation was from the servant's eyes. There's a high chance that the Blue Moon sect, although minor, was supposed to be a stable household. However, Hua Liu ruined them into the ground. Not only does she need a constant supply of Qi pills, but also her extravagant lifestyle didn't make the situation any better. Maybe, her parents felt bad for her and spoiled her to this limit, but Hua should've been a bit understanding… or so I believe. Maybe she found happiness in these actions. The world where cultivation is a focal point and then there's this girl who can't utilize it. That's sad.
As I was trying to escape back into my "chambers", mother saw me and came running to me. "Hua, you're up! Are you hungry? Is that why you stepped out? If that's the case, don't worry. I'll send the food to your room. You don't have to make this effort!" She said as slightly pushed me to my room.
It seemed as if Hua never had food with her family due to her complex. However, I'm not her, am I? Why would I give a damn about a big room? I do care about money since that's the only way to get the optimal conditions for cultivation, however I don't care about extravagant stuff. Hmm, maybe I should sell all the stuff in my room. It would fetch a good price, right?
"Mom, stop! I'll have food with you guys today!" I replied. My parents from Earth really didn't like me or my presence anywhere near them. That's why, I felt awkward when I saw Hua's parents' behavior. They do love their daughter. Might as well give some love back to them. If having food with them makes them happy, then why not?
As expected, mother was surprised at first; then elated. She ran back to the kitchen and prepared food for us four and sat patiently for me to get there. There wasn't a table or stuff. Mom took the only chair out so that I could sit on it. I refused and sat on the floor. The food I ate was the tastiest food that had ever touched my tongue. I guess being near the people that love you changes many things.

"How are you, my daughter?" Father asked.
Well, I didn't feel any bad. I could move pretty well. There's this constant urge to sleep, but other than that, I was fine. I could see the concerned look on my parent's faces. I didn't want to concern them even more.
"I'm fit as I could ever be, father! Don't worry about me." I assured them and tried flexing my arms a bit, which looked weird. But that was expected because of my compact frame. It would've looked cute if someone else did it. Unfortunately, it was me and I didn't look cute.
"Thank goodness! That could mean you could go to the graduation ceremony! I was worried you couldn't attend that." My dad said with a smile on his face.
Shit. That was something I should've expected, I DID expect and yet totally forgot about. I really hoped to reincarnate after the graduation ceremony so I could prepare for my inevitable doom. But how would I have known that this shite isn't over yet? Had I known, I would've made up some lie about my health.
But this is serious. The graduation ceremony is where the story begins in the World of Cultivation. I don't want the story to deviate entirely just because I didn't show up for it. So, for the sake of my peaceful life in the future, I have to deal with it right now.
Let me see, all I have to do is make fun of Qiu Si for her dress—Wait, why the hell did Hua make fun of Qiu Si for her dress? She's from a scholarly family. She's bound to have a better dress than me! Well, it doesn't matter as long as the villainess asks for it, huh?
Anyway, makes fun of her; the hero comes in; asks him not to interfere; raises a hand against her; receives the hero's mighty punch. For everything to go as planned, which I don't really care about because I don't wanna die… But, I still felt sad for Qiu Si. She had a bit of a depressive personality and the hero came in as a shining knight for her at that time. I don't wanna snatch that off her. So, at least this time, I'll let myself go with the flow of the story.
However the main problem still remains. I don't know the exact time of Hua Liu's death. I know what happened to Ao Liu and his family, but it's still unclear whether I was part of the family at that point in time. So, there's a probability of me dying in any given moment. Fuck… What's different between my old life and this one then? I have all the useless information. I even know when Qiu Si bears a child. However, I don't know anything about me. Oh God, why did you make me so omniscient yet human! This is painful!
Since there's a chance of me dying from the sheer impact of the hero's punch, I don't wanna risk it. Look, if all I had to do was to receive a punch from the hero and I knew that I'd be fine after that… well, I'd have done that without any worry so that I never interact with those shits ever again! However, this right here is a gamble. And I'm not willing to take such a gamble.
So, what I plan is something simpler. Feign a stomachache or something! I don't care if the original story gets deviated; I don't wanna die!

That was what I planned… A good plan for a quick one, but unsuccessful. Mom called in a doctor and he said I'm fine and now I have to go to the academy tomorrow. I have no choice but to face it. I guess I'll try to minimize the damage of the punch I receive by sweet talking my way out or something. If I had enough time, I would've found some power that could protect me or something. But the time's too little. I might have to believe in the might of my tongue.
As I was having this train of thought, I never noticed Ao beside me, staring at me intensely. "What happened, sister? Are you not feeling well?" He asked, looking really concerned.
I said nothing at first. Instead, I hugged him tight. "Are you worried about your sister?" I asked.
"Yea?"
"Then sleep beside me! That way you could always protect me!" I said it because I had a glance at his room while I went to the kitchen. The kid doesn't even have a bed. He wouldn't trade with me even if I insist. This adorable kid deserves more, and I intend to give it to him.
"Yea! I'll protect my sister! Don't worry. I'm strong enough to protect everyone in our family." Ao said as he flexed his muscles. While my flexing from the kitchen seemed weird, his one felt rather adorable. I had no choice but to laugh and hug him again. Thus, I made him sleep in the comfy bed with me. Maybe this could be the last time I could hug him so tight and sleep with him.
