Just wanted to know why this has not been marked as completed yet when the last chapter is titled the end.
This is by far the best novel I've read in webnovel, I love the plot, the character development, the chemistry between the ML and FL and I'm most impressed by the extensive vocabulary used, I've learnt so many new words such as deinty, rueful, flippant amongst others, zero editing complaints on my part as well. Kudos to the author, keep the good work!
This was a wonderful book until the children. The fact that we are so far into the book and Long Yang is still so out of control, and everyone who knows Weiwei was willing to lie to her about her own child just absolutely ruined this book. It just overturned all the relationship and character development up till then.

I really want to read this novel but they keep hitting me with pedophilia and I don’t know if I can tolerate that. I love this story and the characters but I might drop it. The love interest is literally 8 years younger than her father and twice her age. I was just going to pretend he was in his early 20’s but they just keep emphasizing his age. Side note: there is absolutely nothing the author can say to make me believe that the ml is a 30 year old man with a harem and he still doesn’t engage in bedroom activities🙄
Eh, like most transmigrated storIes, this has major character transition flaws. Example, she just transmigrated, but she’s acting like these are her real family and love them dearly already. Even if You can get past all that, the story takes a turn for the worst. It’s poorly written. Things don’t even make sense these plot holes. i.e. The Prince and Princess from enemy nation inviting themselves and barging into the Emperor’s holiday home. The poisoning of the Emperor, and no one demands retribution. The used, old divorcée, who’s not even as beautiful as the Empress. The kidnappings that happens while The palace is heavily guarded. I guess all those guards around the Empress are just Incompetent. The fact that this Empress always let the bad go, with barely a slap on the Wrist) so they can attack her another day. I guess there just aren’t that many antagonists around.

To start I'd like to say that this novel is translated very well and very consistently, which is a huge plus considering all the other novels on this site which a borderline incomprehensible because of bad translations. Also, the age gap didn't bother me as much as it bothered some other reviewers. MC is a reborn person, so even though the body she is occupying is technically only 15, her mental age is in the mid 20s which is much less weird. Unfortunately, despite being some sort of super doctor, the FL is cast in the role of the weak damsel in distress for the ML to save in pretty much all situations, even when it doesn't make much sense. For example, in an early arc of the story the FL volunteers to go up a dangerous mountain alone to pick herbs for the ML. In her internal monologue, she talks about how she used to roam all over mountains and forests to pick herbs in her previous life, so she knows how to protect herself and there should be no danger ...but then when she actually goes up the mountain, she instantly falls into a hopeless predicament and can only rely on the ML to save her. Like 4 times in a row. And that's just one example. Pretty much every physically dangerous scenario in the book (up to chapter 300 at least) is resolved by the ML arriving on his white horse and "heroically" saving the FL so she can blush and swoon. If you're into that style of romance (with one side protecting and the other being protected), then the romance between the two leads in this book is decent enough. The ML also spends a lot of time wooing the FL and his interactions with her in the process are cute and sweet. He is super domineering and possessive, but also at least somewhat respectful of the FL's boundaries. To put it bluntly, at least in the first 300 chapters, he doesn't ever r*pe her - which puts him a step above a lot of other MLs in similar books - but he does do a lot of creepy stuff like coming into her room in the middle of the night and using his position to force her to marry him, even over the objections of both her and her family members. If you can turn a blind eye to some of the more troubling elements of the story, it's a fairly good fluffy romance type book laced with occasional intrigue as the FL deals with her evil half-sister.
I suppose I'm too old and have too much self respect for myself as a woman to like forced marriage stories between children and adults twice their age. If you like stories where women have no say and the ml forces a relationship then this is for you. I usually read transmigration stories to see a woman use her modern intelligence and knowledge to run her own life. And at the very least marry who she wants. This female lead is oblivious to everything including basic personal safety when going out (giving the author many reasons to have her saved by the amazing and super strong but really he is dying emperor everytime. So lame. And of course the invincible emperor gets injured everytime he saves her from something. He fights a horde of wolves effortlessly but get mauled by one that jumped at the female lead. So lame and unrealistic. So. forced marriage. the female lead has no choice people still think its romantic? I like how people think just because the ml is the Emperor and is good looking, his overbearing attitude is just him cutely showing his love. To a 15 old girl on top of it. No means 'it's doesn't matter' in these novels. If he was an ugly obese emperor, people wouldn't be calling this story a romance. Its forcing a child to marry you for your selfish and perverse reasons.

Clever lady doctor transmigrated into very sweet Loli style 15yr old pampered underdog daughter. Change her fate! Get revenge! Get the best man ever! Woo! It’ s every ancient times girl’s fantasy. Story does have some dark back drop incidents but so far almost 600 chapters in and it’ s still bright enough fluffy romance outweigh the evil villains to keep me reading. There are great support characters and plenty of humor. Makes me want to read spin off stories.

I enjoy the plot but there is a large age gap if you're not okay with that type of thing. The emperor is cold but loving to the FL. I look forward to their love growing and I hope they have relatively few misunderstandings. So far at 300 chapters in, its an enjoyable story.

One of the rare GOOD novel. Recommended. I only read this to obtain XP, but then got hooked! The first transmigration story that's CUTE and FLUFFY and CUTE and FLUFFY, lol 😆. I really really really recommended this. This is the second Historical Romance novel I love, after Lord Chu's Wife is Wild. But this one is FLUFFIER and CUTER and SWEETER.
loved the transformation of liuwei and it s satisfying how her half sister and step mother are suffering from their own traps.. 100 points to how disappointed Lu chi becomes at the lack of attention paid... and awesome how her father and brother are drawn closer to her with her sudden change in character

At first it was really interesting but after some time reading it made me angry. How disappointing, it was really good at first but I found it to be cliche and annoying. The fact that the emperor keeps disregarding her views about marrying him is something I don't like and while reading the comments I found it offensive that people were saying things like "how cute, you can't escape". Is it bcoz he's handsome and has a good figure, if he were fat, greasy and balding I think the readers would think of it differently and the story would be going in another direction. Face the facts: It's still an abuse of power, the age gap is wrong not bcoz they are 15yrs apart but bcoz he's 30 and she's 15 (in modern times pedophilia).
its a great story.it keeps you hooked on especially the face slapping involved with the crown prince its a must read and I hope there are more novels like this😍😍
