"Thank you for the food!" 

Lan Xianyu swallowed all the food inside his mouth and gulped the glass of water beside him. He made a big smile, showing that it already solved his hunger. 

The handsome man clicked his tongue after seeing a bean of rice at Xianyu's chin. "Wipe your mouth," he said, scowling at his brows. 

The male jolted in embarrassment, turning his head away. "S-Sorry…" he replied, wiping his mouth.

The other man across the table cleared his throat. He turned his gaze to the open window beside his seat. He saw the birds not far away from them flapping their wings above the trees. The noon sun was about to go down, it was nearly afternoon.

"Mister? What's your name?" Xianyu rubbed his nose. "You know my name, but I don't know yours," he added, squinting his eyes while looking at the handsome man. "Judging from your looks, you look suspicious," he said
