บท 224: New Friend

We walked up to the patio and made our way through the crowd. I saw my mother was standing in the kitchen, talking to my father. So both of them turned and looked at me as we two stepped through the door.

"Where have you been, sweetie?" My mother asked.

"I've told you Papa that I was taking a walk down to the sea," I said.

"Yes, you did tell me but that was a long time ago," My father said as he stared at Yuan Shuai.

"Who's your friend, Princess?" My father asked.

"Oh, Papa, Mama. So this is Yuan Shuai. We met on the sea during my walk a long time ago, and we made a friend," I said.

Yuan Shuai then held out his hand to both my parent.

"Which Yuan?" My father said as he looked at Yuan Shuai.

"Papa!" I exclaimed.

"You wouldn't happen to be Yuan Wu Lin son, would you?" My father asked.

"Yes, he is my father," Yuan Shuai nodded.
