บท 45: Chapter 45
The battle was going on for 15 minutes, Tristan cleared his side of the castle and Malik was almost done with his side. They both took their remaining men and went to assist the other sides. More men were rushing in when Tristan looked around to see where the hell all these creatures and men were coming from. Tristan was truly surprised when he saw a witch standing at the entrance of the forest with a portal next to her. Her eyes were glowing as she stood there perfectly still and silent. By then Malik teleported next to him with his sword and armor stained with blood, dripping to the ground. A loud roar came from the portal as two Earth Dragons emerged from the portal and started rushing their soldiers. "I guess it's time to become a little more serious", as his eyes started to glow, Malik smirked as he put his face shield down. ' You handle them, I'll take care of the witch and the portal", and then disappeared. Tristan turned into his dragon and let out a large warning growl at the Earth Dragon that was thrashing his soldiers with its tail. The Earth Dragon turned and growled as it started to run full force toward him. The other Earth Dragon spotted what was going on and started to charge Tristan too, but as Trsitan stood his ground and was about to open his mouth to attack them both; A Red Dragon came out of nowhere and Rammed one of the Earth Dragon with so much force, he flew into the forest breaking miles of trees. Marina bared her teeth at the Earth Dragon as it got up and started running toward her. Tristan focused on the other Earth Dragon that was staring at him with hatred in his eyes. Tristan smirked at the Earth Dragon and started to move toward him in a very slow stride. He started to speed up his pace and charged him with his head lowered. The Earth Dragon braced himself, he wasn't afraid of a little hit, he thought he was tough enough to handle Tristan. When Tristan hit him, he charged his head with lightning and powered up his hit.. He hit him with so much force he flew across the battlefield that dust and rocks were in the air. Tristan already knew that Earth Dragons can take powerful hits without doing any damage to them, so he had to charge his hit up. The moment the Earth Dragon recovered, a thunderous growl was heard and felt as the ground began to shake. Tristan smirked when he heard it, Jackson was here with the Dragon Army. Jackson was on the ground leading the army to the castle, it was a truly beautiful sight to see thousands of soldiers marching. Dragons began to start flying in and circling, trying to survey the area and figure out where they were needed.
Malik appeared in the forest behind the witch that was keeping the portal open for King Mortons army and she had two bodyguards around her.. He stood there for a couple of seconds trying to think of a plan to get rid of this witch. He snuck around the trees without being noticed and slit one of the guards throat with ease and hid his body behind a tree. He slowly and quietly moved to the other side where the other guard was standing there. The guard felt Malik's presence and began to look around. The guard kept looking around, but he didn't see anything, just felt it He called a few more soldiers over and told one of them to check on the other guard on the opposite side of him. Malik disappeared and popped up in front of the other guard, touch him and they reappeared in the dungeons, in a cell. The guard looked around both puzzled and scared as his legs began to shake. Malik smirked, it always amused him when he used his gift on someone new. " Stay and enjoy your stay until I come back for a talk", and disappeared back to the battlefield. He reappeared back where he took the guard from and to his surprise there were 5 guards standing there with shocked looks on their faces. Malik sighed and looked at the distance between him and the witch, he then looked at all the soldiers coming out of nowhere and began to run towards him to attack. His eyes began to glow and he disappeared then reappeared in front of the first soldier and cut his head off. The other soldiers looked in shocked as the head rolled to their feet. At that exact same moment a roar was heard coming from the distance, tremors were felt under their feet. The soldiers looked around and saw the Dragon army advancing, while they heard growls coming from the sky. They looked at Malik who was smiling as his eyes began to glow brighter, then he disappeared and appeared in front of the two soldiers who were closest to him. He stabbed both of them through the heart, disappeared, reappeared in front of the group of three before the others hit the ground and cut their heads off. Each time Malik reappeared, he moved closer and closer to the witch, that was his main target. He disappeared one more time and appeared in front of the witch and tried to pierce her in the heart, but once the sword came into contact with her, he was thrown back a couple of feet. Before Malik Hit the ground he realized that the witch had a magical shield protecting her and disappeared again. He started disappearing and reappearing with such speed that the only thing was seen was a blur of colors. When he finally reappeared again he was in front of the witch again, about to attack her again. The witch smirked as she saw him try to attack again, she knew he couldn't break through her shield. As Malik got closer to her, a blade that was glowing mint green popped out of his right sleeve and surprised the witch. Before she could react, her face was sliced open down the middle. Blood rushed out in between her fingers as she tried to hold her face together. Malik appeared in front of her again, " You must like pain since you wanted to make your death so difficult", and another blade popped out of his left sleeve.. She couldn't do anything to protect before she felt her body being sliced up, every cut that he inflicted she became weaker and her portal started to disappear. When he stopped cutting her, she tried to stand there with blood dripping out of her many cuts, but she was so weak her body fell to the ground. Malik walked over to her and looked down at her blood soaked body, " Since I can't kill you with one strike, you will have to suffer to your death". The life began to drain out of her body as she bled out on the ground, at that moment Malik felt a burning sensation in his right shoulder, " Aubree!!!!", he said as he disappeared. What Malik didn't know is that right when the portal disappeared someone came through with a sinister look on his face, wanting to kill every dragon he could.
Alora opened her eyes, looked around and noticed she was in her chamber in her bed. She saw Suri looking out the window as she heard loud noises coming from outside. She sat up and saw Sorsha sleeping on her couch by the window and relaxed knowing she was ok. She got out the bed and walked over to Suri who seemed to be in deep thought. "Suri what's going on? How did we get in my chamber?" Suri stared outside and sighed, " They are fighting Alora. King Morton sent his army for you and Sorsha." Alora ran over to the window and saw such a horrific sight of dead bodies on the ground, blood was everywhere. " Where is Dez? Where are my parents?!", as she ran over and shook Suri. Suri let out a little chuckle, " Your parents are fighting very well and the last person you need to worry about is Dez, he's strong enough". Suri thought back to when Marina and her were in the tunnel and Dez showed up. His aura gave off so much power she shuddered at the thought if Dez wasn't on their side. "Don't worry Alora, they came up with a plan to get you out of here unharmed. We just have to be a little more patient.". Alora looked outside for a couple of seconds and decided she wanted to fight too. Her family and mate was out there fighting for her, she felt like she was strong enough to protect herself now. Sorsha had just begun to wake up and sat up on the couch, " What happened? " Suri explained again what was going on, both Sorsha and Alora wanted to fight but Suri persuaded them to sit there patiently and wait. All three of them watched through the window until they noticed someone walking across the field with a sinister look on his face. He looked up at them and met their eyes, it sent chills through their spines and for the first time every Alora was genuinely scared. As soon as he saw Alora his eyes started to glow and he turned into a Black Dragon in front of their eyes. Suri had the same feeling she had when she was in the tunnel , but it wasn't as strong as then because she broke out of it really quick. She turned around and grabbed Alora and Sorshas hand and started running away from the window, " We have to get the hell out of here!" As they ran out of Aloras chamber they felt the castle shaking, stones started falling from the ceiling. As they ran down the corridor, they tried to keep their balance but it felt like the whole castle was about to collapse on top of them. When they made it downstairs the ceiling collapsed and Alora leg and Suri lower body got pinned under some boulders. Sorsha came from out of the mess and ran over to Alora and tried to help move the boulder but it was too heavy. They heard a growl and the rest of the roof collapsed and the Black Dragon was standing there with a grin on its face. Sorsha was thrown back against the wall from the force of the debris falling . Alora was using her gifts to protect Suri and herself since they couldn't get out the way, good thing Aubree taught her how to make a shield. She looked up and saw black claw coming down at her, she tried to use all the power in her body to strengthen her shield, her shield began to grow more stronger. She seen her mother coming from around the corner with her eyes glowing and a pissed off look on her face. " Dont you dare touch my fucking daughter!" Lightning started striking the Blsck Dragon, but it didn't affect him that much. He shook off the attack and focused on grabbing Alora again. Suri was trying to free herself but when she saw Lynia come in, she decided to use her gifts to help Lynia and Alora out. As her eyes began to glow, Lee ran in there and was shocked at the scene. He ran over to Suri to help get the boulder off of her, but it was too heavy. Suri pushed Lee out the way and told him to go and get help, but Lee was not about to leave her and Alora in danger. The Black Dragon was about to stick its claw through the roof again but Lynia felt a sudden rush of power and shot Lightning and fire at it and it combined together and attacked it . Her attack pushed it back and stunned it for a couple of seconds before it growled at her in anger and annoyance for attacking him. He smirked and looked at his claws and they turned midnight black. Mist was coming out of them as he again tried to get Alora again. As his claws cut through the shields he finally smiled because victory was right there. The Black Dragon was so focused on getting his claws on Alora, he didn't notice Max ramming toward him full force and sent him flying so far off the castle that he was in the forest. The Black Dragon was beyond pissed because he let this flighty dragon get a good hit on him. He first was going to kill him, then he would kill anyone else in his way, he thought as he growled at Max with so much hatred.
