บท 236: Know Your Value

Damien stared at his the piled up paperwork on it his desk. He inhaled deeply and sighed. He hummed and compared the height to his computer monitor... and they were almost the same height and if not, the stack was most definitely taller. He squinted his eyes, thinking that if he does this, would it be able to go away? He didn't like seeing them. He pursed his lips and took a quick glance to the side where everyone was heartily laughing as they worked. 

He didn't like the idea of multitasking. It was surely accepted and majority were making it as a new norm but for him it was kind of stramineous.

His boss barged in all of a sudden in his so called office. He was relocated in a more... public display setting of an office. The irony of the glass walls that were supposed to give him privacy was only attracting more eyes towards it. It wasn't keeping anything private for him since the glass was see through and basically looked more of an aquarium especially made for him.
