"You're late."

Rafael froze in his tracks as he thought that he was careful enough to not be detected. Boy was he wrong. Lady Ae Ri was sitting with crossed legs and sipping tea with an unamused. He slowly turned to face her with wide eyes. He quickly winced and knelt to the ground on the spot with his head down low.

Lady Ae Ri sighed and shook her head, placing the cup down on the side table. She started to hum to her self and pointed the spot in front of her. It was a simple gesture to get Rafael kneel in front of her. 

Rafael scrambled to his feet and quickly knelt once more but this time he was kneeling in front of Lady Ae Ri not meeting her gaze. He was guilty but deep down, if he had a tail, one could practically see it swishing back and forth by now. 

"Explain." She spoke. "What do you mean old friend? You? Have other friends?"

"It was someone back from the Demon Heart Program, my Lady. If you could recall Jason?"
