บท 19: Sunburned
After I left Earth-Prime I decided my next choice of action would be to use something I was saving for a special occasion. The fruits of the Tree of Might! I've been saving these little gems ever since I beat Cooler's ass. Now that I have gotten almost unbeatably strong I am going to eat these puppies over the course of the next few weeks as I am training to hopefully match or surpass most of the Angels.
Sticking to my previous training plan, I also eat each fruit at the end of each week as eating them too fast will result in diminishing returns. I have around 7 from Cooler's stash as well as the seeds themselves. The actual Tree of Might is a divine tree whose purpose is to create Daikaioshins, you are supposed to use divine water to nourish the tree so it could complete its job. In the event that there is no divine water present, it will suck the necessary energy from anywhere it can, this results in defective fruits that don't make Kaioshins, and is why it sucks planets. I might grow more fruits later with a wish from Ultimate Shenron, but for now, I am content with the seven I have.
Using the potential unlocking powers of the fruit, my power has increased to new heights making Jiren look like a little baby in comparison and being on par with angels. I haven't had much progress with my Sharingan however, as it is only at the two tomoe stage. The only thing I need to get now is either Super Saiyan 4 if it exists and Ultra Instinct. On the Super Saiyan 4 front, it seems that I don't have enough S-cells for the golden Oozaru so it's on hold for now. With Ultra Instinct, however, I have made great progress and have managed to enter Ultra Instinct Omen a few times without destroying myself as I am strong enough to now handle it.
Aside from training, I have decided that I will go to the DC universe to try and pay Superman a beating if I can. Unlike Superman, the Dragonball multiverse is generally written with consistent power scaling, Superman, however, has been written by a large multitude of different authors whom each have a different interpretation of his strength. One author could feel that Superman is limitless in power, while another says he could maybe only building level in attack potency it varies quite frequently. With this in mind, I am hoping for an excellent fight with him.

Using my Multiversal Travel ability to cross the planes I arrive in the DC universe on what appears to be a large building. After flying around for a few minutes I realize that I appear to be somewhere in Gotham City. I stole some lady's phone while she was texting someone and quickly flew away to try and reset it like I did in Earth-Prime. I used Google earth to discern where I was geographically to try and head over to Metropolis City so I could fight Supes himself.
It took a bit but I was able to locate the city and started flying toward it. As soon as I arrived I started making trouble by committing a multitude of crimes ranging from littering and loitering to bank robberies and major destruction of property. I didn't care too much for the casualties as I had my reset button with me aka the dragon balls. It took like 8 bank robberies and 17 buildings vaporized full of people for Supes to show up in front of my large pile of money.
He was about to start talking but I shut him up with a left hook to his face.
"Nice of you to show up, Superman!" I said to him with a battle-hungry smile on my face, "You sure took your sweet time, didn't you," Enraged, he threw a punch which I caught, "I have been waiting for this fight for a while so you better not disappoint me."
"Why have you done all this? For a fight? do you have any idea how many lives you have ruined or how many people you have killed!" Superman said with a livid tone. To enrage him further I shot a large ki blast which detonated off in the distance like a nuclear bomb, killing off many other people. Enraged even further, Superman charged at me, intending to finish this.
We began an exchange of fists. Superman was a surprisingly decent martial artist and landed a few blows on me, which rocketed me toward a building. I crashed through it and onto the next with a few bruises and scrapes. Excited, I powered up flew to meet in the air with him. We were about equal as we were both holding back a significant portion of our strength. I landed a kick on his face, causing his nose to bleed. I followed up with an uppercut and a kick.
"Come on man no use holding back, I am probably the strongest being you will ever face!" I said to him. He took my advice to heart and we both took the kiddy gloves off. I powered up to my full base power and he got rid of his self-imposed mental and physical restrictions. We clashed again, pushing each other to our limits. I race forward with a kick; he blocks it with one arm and socks me in the face with the other. I use his chest as a springboard and launch myself away from him. I turn to him and fire a barrage of ki blasts which singe his costume and cause minor damage. Seeing this, I fire a Big Bang Attack; he deflects it away from the ground with his heat vision and sends it into orbit.
I rush back at him with a punch which he blocks. He retaliates with a haymaker which I dodge, much to his ire. Superman is a pretty good martial artist and has great battle sense, unfortunately for him my skills are literally perfect with an SSS rating, his skills are probably somewhere in the A++ range. Due to this fact, I land, block, and dodge way more blows than he does. His damage and fatigue are starting to get to him. Unfortunately for me, however, is that the sun is rising on the horizon. We started our fight very early in the morning and with the sun coming out, he will slowly get stronger.
I took my mind off this and focused back on the fight. I land a kick to his temple which dazes him for a second, enough time to charge an attack. I move away from him and charge a Super Kamehameha.
"KamehameHAAAAAAA!" I shouted as the azure beam struck Superman with a petrifying force akin to a supernova. The beam lands and severely damages him. I let him catch his breath. Unexpectedly, Superman turned tail and flew high into the sky. I rushed to him a little confused but then sensed him getting closer and closer to the Sun. I realize what he is doing and let it happen as it would make this fight very interesting.
Superman was gone for a little over an hour. During that time I dealt with the Justice League as they tried to stall for time and tried their best to take me down. Their attempts to do anything to me were extremely laughable as my power was far above anything they could handle. Even Martian Man Hunter and Wonder Woman were powerless to stop me as I knew all their abilities and weapons/gadgets and had a counter to everything they could throw at me. The other Kryptonians were a little bit of a pain in the ass but I took care of them quickly.
After that aforementioned fight with the league, Superman came back down to earth brimming with power. He had spent about an hour in the sun which supercharged him to high hell.
We began our exchange again but this time his boost in both speed and strength mitigated my advantage in skill. He began to ragdoll me very hard. He had me in a hold with an unbreakable vice-like grip. He landed a punch on my face; breaking a few of my teeth. He sent a blow to my midsection, causing me to cough up a lot of blood. He laser-eyed me point blank, sending me down to the earth like a meteor. On the way down I recovered and burst into Super Saiyan.
Our next exchange was not so one-sided as his overwhelming advantage was not as overwhelming or advantageous. I gave him a kick to behind his knee, leaving that leg weakened. I then elbowed him in the face, breaking his jaw on contact and sending him through a few buildings. Our connecting fists sent shockwaves around the world, bursting many eardrums and resulting in massive collateral damage and casualties. I activated my Sharingan and began tracking his movements. My movements became even more refined and dodged his movements almost perfectly as if I could predict the future.
With my Sharingan, I noticed that his movements would become faster and faster as fists would hit harder and harder. He was getting even stronger.
'I know I wanted an opponent that could push me in battle but holy shit this guy is like a walking cheat!' I thought loudly in my mind. I know that the irony is not lost on me as I have many gifts and talents but I actually had to work and train hard for my strength while he is just born with it. Not fair at all. I noticed that his movements suddenly became slower and I could predict him even better. I think I unlocked the third tomoe in our battle. Cool.
Using my predictive powers I began to beat the ever-loving shit out of him. I rained blows on every inch of his body while maximizing my effectiveness and damage. Three consecutive blows to the temple. A double-kick to his pelvis. A hammer fist to his solar plexus. An axe kick to the back of his head and a roundhouse kick to the side of his ribs just to name a few. After this last exchange, Superman lay beaten and broken on the pavement. The city looked like the apocalypse had passed by making it resemble a desolate wasteland, scratch that it is a desolate wasteland.
I sighed in satisfaction of our battle and grew newfound respect for Superman despite his cheat powers. I used telekinesis to lift Superman and the Justice League and place them all on the outskirts of the city. I turned to Superman and began to speak.
"You truly are very impressive, I thoroughly enjoyed our battle! We kinda wrecked the city and cost quite a few lives though, Don't worry I will fix it," I said to the half-dead superhero. Superman looked at me in righteous fury.
"FIX IT? HOW! Do you realize what you have done! There is nothing you could do to help!" Superman roared. I gave him a knowing smile and summoned the dragon balls.
"Rise! Ultimate Shenron and grant my wish," I called out. Superman looked at me confused at my words and the spontaneous appearance of the dragon balls. The balls leaked out tremendous magic power as they glowed. The clear blue sky turned a dark greyish black as lightning struck the ground angrily. After a moment a bright beam of light exploded from the black star dragon balls and formed into the red and intimidating visage of Ultimate Shenron.
"YOU HAVE SUMMONED THE ETERNAL DRAGON AND SO YOU WILL BE GRANTED YOUR WISH WHAT IS YOUR DESIRE?" The red serpentine dragon bellowed in its booming voice. Superman gawked at the red dragon in shock as he frantically turned his gave from me to Shenron. I just gave him a smirk and spoke my wish.
"Ultimate Shenron, undo all of the destruction, damage and death I and the members of the Justice League caused in the last 48 hours," I called out to the dragon. The dragon's eyes glowed and like clockwork, the city around us began to magically repair itself as all the previous corpses were resurrected.
"YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED, FAREWELL!" Ultimate Shenron said as he went back to his slumber. I put my dragon balls into my pocket space and turned back to the league and began to give them Senzu beans one by one.
"Whelp, it seems that this is goodbye! I hope next time we meet it will be on better terms, oh and sorry about the mess I caused," I said to the League who all had bewildered expressions on their faces. Batman snapped from his stupor first and gave me his signature bat glare as he walked up to me menacingly.
"No, you can't leave! You are a very dangerous threat to the planet we must make sure you aren't just going to come back and kill us all, simply reversing what you have done isn't enough to warrant trust," Batman said in a threatening matter.
"Well ok, how about I give you a pouch of infinite Senzu beans that heal all wounds and restore your stamina as well as the cure for all diseases and we call it even," I said nonchalantly as I threw him the brown pouch and bottle of pills, "I have like a hundred of those anyway." he caught them but still went on another tirade about trust. I ignored him and halfway through his speech I just teleported away back to the Dragonball multiverse.
