Based on Fang Xinxin's grades, her performance was poor to the point where she could not even understand basic French. How could she possibly manage to read the content in an intermediate level, business conversational French class?

It was likely that only those, who had built a good vocabulary of business related French words, would be able to understand this.

Everyone knew that Fang Xinxin was a shoddy student. They were waiting for her to embarrass herself.

Fang Xinxin remained in her seat and did not react.

Fang Manxue spoke up in French. "Teacher, you know that my third sister's grades are poor. How could she possibly read this? I'm afraid that if you speak in French, she won't even realise that you were addressing her."
