บท 40: Chapter 40

I woke up exhausted. I stretched myself before turning to the empty left side of the bed.

Did I sleep in once again?

I looked at the alarm and realised it was still the early hours of the day, I relaxed.

Here I was thinking I would be sleeping in on my first morning at my new family's home.

Blake must have gotten up early for his morning workout. I pulled myself out of bed and showered.

After getting dressed, I sat back on the bed, it's still early and moreover I have nothing to do downstairs.

The house is filled with workers so I won't have anything to do aside from adding pressure on the workers if I go downstairs.

It's time to call my mom

I couldn't place the call last night because by the time we all called it a night, I was tired and sleepy. I was only able to update Lyn via a text.

"Good morning mom" she picked on the first ring
