บท 16: Chapter 16

Paisley POV

"Hey, are you done" asked Blake

"I'll be rounding up about now. I'm done!" I responded with a smile.

"That's great" oh! oh! Whenever he uses such a tone with me he is up to something. I didn't have to guess since he continued "work on this too, I have an urgent date I need to get to so call me only if there is anything important" I knew he wasn't up to anything good.

"A date?" I asked concealing the hurt I felt

"Yeah, a date" I don't know what hurts more. Is it him confirming my question or the big smile on his face right now.

"Have a fun evening then" I wished him with a smile. I hope it doesn't look awkward though

"Thank you, I definitely would" he headed back to his office humming. One thing I've discovered since the last two months we got talking was he hums whenever he is happy! I should be a good friend and be happy for him but I can't help but feel jealous of his date.
