Blake's POV

I sat in my office still wondering what the relationship between Miss Ryan and Mr. Arlo was!

He definitely knew her, although Miss Ryan's expression was businesslike all through revealing nothing!

How frustrating!

A knock on my door got me back to reality. I hurriedly looked towards my laptop as though I was busy with work

"Come in" I answered

"Sir here is the document you asked for" I heard her say while dropping the document on my desk.

I picked it up and glanced through it

Dammit, she is done! Did she rush in order to get back to him early?

"Good job Miss Ryan" I dryly complimented.

Noticing how angry I sounded. I prayed she left the room!

She seemed like she had something to ask but in the end, she turned around and left.

Her mood was enough to tell me she can't wait to get back home

That shouldn't bother me right but it did. And that feeling is disturbing!
