บท 29: Chapter 29

I sighed in relief when the doctor announced that Brenda is fine. She didn't manage to cut deep enough to do serious damage as Dalton's dad stopped her at right time but she did lose a lot of blood so they're keeping her for a day or two just to make sure she is completely fine.

We all were really tensed about the results but once hearing from the doctor that she is fine now we all felt relieved.

Mom looked at me and gave me a look which says "I want to talk to you alone" so I told everyone that I'm going to buy some coffee and mom made the excuse of helping me.

"What happened mom?", I asked worriedly because from her expression I can tell she is hiding something and I wish that it'll not affect any of our relationships.

"I wanted to talk about something", she looked like she is debating whether to tell me or not. At last, she sighed.

"The day I and Dalton's dad you know.....", she trailed off, too embarrassed to say the words out. I just nodded for her to continue.
