After the open talk between Zio and the vice-chancellor, the young scholar started to work on his mana controlling. Since what he’s learning is about sensation and ethereal understanding of how the unseen works, Zio, for the first time in forever, had trouble in learning something.
The first thing that Lord Eilan wanted Zio to do is to lengthen the duration of his magic. By building up the feeling of frugality in his mana usage, the vice-chancellor hopes that it would help Zio get the hang of it and starting to be able to feel and control the output of his mana.
Zio was given a simple task to lift a copper plate until his mana runs out. At the first time, he can hold it up for around twenty minutes. Then it gradually becomes more lasting little by little. After five days of harsh, strict, and continuous training, he can finally hold it up for twenty-five minutes.
