"Is it okay to just leave? You don't want to call anyone and tell them you're gone?" asked Aaron after gathering his intentions. He turned to Anna who was busy with the view of the highway they were passing.
"It's okay, Uncle. Don't worry about anything. After all, no one will ever need to hear from me," replied Anna in a very small voice, but the words still sounded clear to Aaron's ears.
"Hmm, fine," Aaron replied with a deep breath.
"You don't want to say goodbye to your adoptive mother and father first?" Aaron asked again. He thought that his niece was just living separately from the two people because she already had a family of her own. However, he thought it would only last a few minutes.
"They're dead, Uncle. I don't have anyone now," Anna replied in one breath.
"You still have me, don't think like that," Aaron Smith said awkwardly.
Hearing that, Anna only glanced over and gave a faint smile without replying a single word.
