"CELESTE, YOUR BOY HAS A WARRIOR'S STOMACH? LET ME SEE HOW HE ACTS ACCORDINGLY, THEN!?" he yelled, instantly turning towards Angel, who had been sitting in the sand, recovering.
Angel began to move, however Duvont was quite fast. Putting his blade to her throat, Angel managed to call out "Wingblade!" summoning three bright blue translucent blades that hovered in the air, pointing towards Duvont from different angles.
Storm did the same, chanting the same name, 'Wingblade', summoning a blade of his own, and running towards Duvont as he grabbed Angel. As Storm ran, the gold helm knight sped up faster than the boy, grabbing him by the head and slamming it to the ground. The figure stood next to Storm, his arms crossed and his back to him. Storm almost instantaneously jumped up, more wingblades materializing and hovering over him.
With a blade in each hand, Storm attacked with both weapons at the same time. The knight unsheathed his sword from his scabbard halfway, one hand on the scabbard, the other on the hilt of the sword, clashing with Storm. Duvont laughed, the other soldiers snickering and laughing along with him, and cheering their general on. Duvont laughed, looking towards Storm, the boy looking towards him as well.
Celeste stood by and watched, her hands quivering. Angel stood by, struggling to free herself with one arm.
"Angel! Don't!" Celeste yelled at her, looking down to her feet, quivering more.
Angel cursed under her breath, releasing the wingblades, and the weapons shattered in the air.
"Whew-it worked-thank god-" Duvont thought to himself, still holding Angel. He grinned as he held Angel tighter, the girl writhing in pain.
"Now the stakes are higher! What will you do now? Will you finally give in and accept my gratitude, or would you rather see something worse-?" Duvont laughed, the man pressing the blade against Angel's throat, drawing blood.
Angel winced in pain. Celeste looked up, clenching her fists even more. She noticed a liquid dripping from the blade.
"He's using sedatives on that blade-? Is he serious-? If he harms her-so help me-!" she thought to herself, as she was in a situation in which she couldn't fight.
Duvont became impatient and snickered, beginning to rub the girl's sides. Angel tried to move away but felt trapped, not wanting to risk the signing. Storm had enough and began to run towards her.
"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER--!" he yelled, being cut off by an iron fist punching him in the stomach with great force.
As the wind was knocked from his body, he remembered what he was told by Nanao.
"-.C-Celeste-" he managed to utter, slowly standing yet again.
Celeste looked towards Storm, who held his stomach and wiped drool from his lip.
"-Is this signing seriously that important-.to you? Damn it, do something!" he yelled, gritting his teeth.
Duvont laughed, and Celeste exhaled softly. The man looked to Storm, the knight standing close by the boy, his hand held out yet again.
"Swallow your pride, boy. You'll get your woman in return. Shake his hand. Accept my gratitude," he told him, a menacing expression on his face.
Standing up straight, Storm looked to the knight and clenched his fist. He hesitated for a moment, hoping to be able to rush in and help his friend, but instead, he took the knight's hand and shook it. The knight gripped it tightly. Storm did the same, a furious, silent tension in the air rising. Duvont let Angel go, though she was barely able to stand. He laughed and walked over to Storm, gripping the boy's hair.
"You see? Had you complied earlier, nothing would have happened. Next time, listen to me, boy. Otherwise, she'll feel more than just a blade-" he laughed, Storm remaining silent to his taunts.
Walking off, Duvont pulled a flask from his back pocket and drank from it. Storm stared into the helm of the knight, only darkness lying in behind the visor. Suddenly, a small red light flashed from the visor, causing Storm to take a step back in surprise. The knight walked after Duvont silently.
Storm muttered to himself, "That's definitely the guy who was scouting us earlier-" Duvont turned, hearing Storm began to speak again.
"Eh? You say something, boy? Have you something to say to me?" he asked, wiping his lips with his sleeve, stomping his brown boots into the sand.
He moved to stand close to Storm, the smell of alcohol emanating from his breath.
"Listen here, boy. I have a whole army here. You can't do shit to me. You want this signing to work? Then you're going to grovel at my feet." he said, a hand on Storm's head, squeezing it, attempting to harm him.
Storm felt the pain but stood silent, clenching his fist tightly, sparks emanating from his body.
"You think you'll harm me, boy? All the forces of this country will go against you! We'll use all our technology and destroy you!" He yelled at the boy.
The army stared silently, watching their general lose his cool over one person.
Celeste watched, one hand clutched over the other, her hands trembling. Angel and the others looked, even Nixanya who awoke, but felt too weak to stand, sat up to watch. Storm was silent for a few more moments and after heaving a sigh, he looked up to Duvont, a sharp intense energy directed towards him. Storm glared at the man for a good moment.
Duvont started to become afraid and took a few steps back when Storm stepped forward to him. Storm then clenched his fist tightly, punching Duvont in the jaw, and the man being flew a few feet into the air, falling back into the sandy ground. Duvont covered his mouth, screaming through his hands. Blood spilled through his fingertips and he lost a tooth.
"Y-You-!" he stuttered in the ground, still in shock.
"Whoops." Storm said to him, titling his head to the side.
The army began to charge but stopped the moment he looked in their direction. Duvont furiously began to rant, removing his sword from his scabbard and shouting at Storm.
"I'VE MORE ARMIES! THESE PATHETIC FOOLS ARE ONLY A SMALL FRACTION OF WHAT POWER I TRULY POSSESS! T-THEY'LL KILL YOU!" He yelled at him, Storm quickly rushing in front of him.
Storm muttered to Duvont; "I don't give a fuck."
Storm's hand punched through the blade that Duvont had tried to defend himself with, shattering the weapon into pieces. He punched him in the face, causing the general to pass out. Blood dripping from his knuckles, the boy slightly injured from punching through the blade.
"Don't ever harm-no, don't ever touch my friends again," he said this to an unconscious Duvont, and walked towards Angel.
