Lucas was about to try to read the file after he realized that he wouldn't be getting an answer from Imani right now but when he was about to hunch over, Imani suddenly straightened and grabbed his arm.

Her eyes were wide with horror as she processed everything she just read. Owen Barnes had been the one who created the Sirizan virus and the virus had escaped from the lab, making him the reason for which the human race had almost ended. Billions of people had died from that virus, including the man that had created it... Imani felt sick.

"Talk to me," Lucas said, concern evident in his voice, as he placed his hands on her arms and Imani struggled to find her voice.
