Imani shifted uncomfortably in her bed as thoughts of Nikolay threatened to rush into her mind but she quickly shut them down. "I didn't offer him anything. We just... talked."

"Talked?" Lola asked as she tilted her head and hmmed when Imani nodded in response. She wanted to ask her if she told Lucas who they were getting the virus from but chose not to when she realized that she definitely wouldn't tell him that.

"But how the hell do you know Ni-" she cut herself off because Lucas was downstairs and even though there was a high chance he wasn't listening to their conversation right now, she still didn't want to risk it. "How do you know him Lola?" she asked.
