บท 66: Leave Him (1)

Imani's mouth dropped in horror as a crack sounded in the hallway while the music inside the hall grew louder and Lucas kicked the door shut. Henry's hand fell away from her arm and it took him a second to realize Lucas just broke his wrist before he let out an ear-shattering scream that broke the silence that had settled in the hallway.

"You fucking –" Henry was cut off by Lucas' fist flying into his face and he stumbled back, nose bleeding while his broken wrist was still in Lucas' grip.

Lucas' face was like thunder and his eyes flashed with anger as he twisted the broken wrist back, making the man scream again. He wanted to rip Henry's throat out for trying to hit Imani and he growled, fighting his wolf from surfacing and doing just that. Imani had been watching them with wide eyes and she finally snapped into action when Lucas caught Henry's other hand after the man tried to take a swing at him and was about to break it too.
