Seeing Gabby's face grow paler made Jason even more worried. He dropped the bucket filled with small fish he had caught and walked even faster.
"No, you come with me now," Jason's order was firm.
Gabby could only walk backwards while crouching as pain began to take over her. But since the river water was flowing swiftly, her body was pushed back. Not long after, her entire body was enveloped in cold water.
Jason widened his eyes, he stood near Gabby and bent down. When he wanted to pick her up, Gabby actually pushed him away. "No, go away."
Her face that looked embarrassed and her rejecting him made Jason feel hurt. But he still couldn't let Gabby soak in the cold river water.
Before Jason could touch Gabby's feet, he was suddenly pushed back, along with the strong urge that made him walk back a few steps.
"Gabby, hey!" Michael walked over and lifted Gabby. "What's wrong with you?"
