Ye Tianxin held her mobile phone tightly. She had wanted very much to speak with Elder Brother Li. She felt like it had been years since they last talked.

However, when the call went through, she did not know what to say. But she was just very happy.

"Elder Brother Li, why aren't you speaking?" Ye Tianxin wondered if something was wrong.

"Go on, I'm listening," Li Qingcang encouraged. He sounded happy, though he didn't say much.

'I want to hear you speak,' Ye Tianxin thought.

Li Qingcang did not know that Ye Tianxin had a habit. She liked to record their conversations over the phone.

Sometimes, especially when she missed him, Ye Tianxin would listen to their previous conversations. Hearing his voice comforted her. She felt as if Li Qingcang was just beside her—she felt safe.
