บท 144: Dave's Doubts

Dave slowly opened his eyes. The morning sun that dazzled his senses of vision slowly brought Dave back to his senses. Dave turned his gaze to the side and found Dita sleeping with her body leaning against the chair she was sitting on.

      "Ughh ... Damn it!"

      Dave tried to get up, but the pain he felt in his body made Dave give a painful expression, especially in his legs. When he managed to get into a sitting position, Dave saw the burn marks were quite severe on both his legs.

      The pain he was currently feeling was worse than last night. Maybe because last night, Dave was filled with adrenaline, so he could still ignore the pain he felt in his leg even if only a little. But now that he came to his senses, the pain really tormented him.
