"No, Samantha. I do not recall anything, and all my memories with you are trapped with my beast, the dragon in me. Only he knows all that happened to us. But he is unwilling to share them with me, and I am unable to force him to reveal them either. I am bound in this matter."

Alastair stated the same reply he had received from his beast when he had attempted to seek answers from it. He had been unable to obtain any important clue or information from it and eventually, he had given up.

"Dragon?" Samantha gave him a confused look and recalled what Queen Daphne had told her before she had taken her to the courtroom to show her the special throne.

"I presume you have already heard about dragons from my mother." Alastair lifted his head questioningly while Samantha nodded at him. "Then, you must also know that one who holds the power, the right to the throne has the blood of a dragon flowing in him."

Again, Samantha nodded at him.
