"How about you leave too, Your Majesty?" Domenic suggested as soon as Emily and Shadow left his office. He was the least bit keen to be in the same room with the Fae King, not because he feared the latter but basically because he didn't trust himself around the man who seemed to possess a weird sort of control over him which had everything to do with the soulmate bond that they shared.

A smirk appeared on the Fae King's lips as he stood up from his seat and headed toward Domenic, stopping only when he was standing right in front of the latter. Keeping the smirk intact on his lips, he placed one of his hands against the backrest of the couch before bending his body to close some of the distance between himself and the haughty CEO.
