บท 302: Their Story

Emily had her gaze fixed on her hands as she couldn't find the courage to look in Kaiden's eyes as she told him about the dark past that she shared with his first mate. She wasn't sure where it would lead her relationship with him, or if he would blame her after learning about what happened back then, but she had decided to tell him everything.

She was done with carrying the story with herself all alone for so many years, she wanted to finally reveal it to someone and he was the one person who deserved the most to know about what happened to Elisa.

"During my time there, I got to know that they were running a business of human trafficking and most of the people kidnapped were indeed humans, only Elisa and the people accompanying her were an exception." She stopped to take a deep breath before she continued. 

"It was rumored that she and her companions were held captive because they tried to help some of the humans that were getting transported to brothels."
