บท 70: Section 69: Devourer of Life

-Aria POV-

During midnight…

I wondered whether we're ready for whatever is coming, this time it's no longer a game. The children's lives are in my hands, if I fail my plan then they will lose their future. Vladimir took so many lives for his own egoistical purpose. No matter what he said, he's at fault here. I stand next to the wounded Ender, he's sleeping peacefully on the bed.

"Ender, I'm sorry to disappoint you" I sighed.

I laid my head on his lap, tears swelled in my eyes. I missed him so much, Ender is still unconscious. Perhaps, if I am stronger than before then this wouldn't happen. 

"I'm sorry" I sniffed.

"For what?" a hoarse voice spoke.

I looked at the man on the bed, he's still wearing the same exhausted expression. 

"Hey, sorry about that" he spoke awkwardly. "I sneaked out cause I feel like Vladimir is planning something sneaky".

"How come you said that?" I looked at him confused.
