บท 52: CHAPTER 38 - THE CELL AND OROCHI (2)
The night before the battle begin, Zuikaku and her friends are having a girl talk with some girls from Royal Navy.
"So, how's commander doing?", asked Wales. "I don't see him coming with you for the upcoming battle."
"Well, he's fine", answered Zuikaku. "It just he doesn't wake up yet even though Fusou said his condition is perfectly fine and normal."
Belfast and Wales aren't surprised with that answer. Seems liked they already knew his condition.
"The last battle against that creature already took a toll for him", said Wales. "I'm not surprise if he isn't wake up yet consider that he put everything aside him in order to fight it back until his last breath."
"But, I really hope that commander with us right now."
The next battle is crucial for them, either for Azur Lane nor Sakura Empire. They want to end the war, the reason why they fought and fighting against each other. It's indeed starting from Orochi itself, the main source of the problem.
Orochi is one of the siren technologies, capable to produce and control plenty of mass production sirens. If Kay is a terrific single unit that capable to destroy the world by himself, then Orochi is the mirror of him. The only different is Kay is acting alone while Orochi has numerous of pawns.
TOK...TOK...TOK...
The sound of someone knocking the door and Belfast immediately opens the door and saw Nagato, Kawakaze, Warspite and Queen Elizabeth.

"Well, this is very awkward", said Prinz Eugen. "I don't expect both queen are very interested to have a girl talk."
Both of them are looking at Prinz Eugen upon hearing that, pretty unhappy about it. Queen Elizabeth and Nagato just finished their final meeting for tomorrow battle. They agreed to put their differences aside and working together in order to win.
Personally, Azur Lane not even bothered about that as the only reason they came because of Kay's order. Nothing more, nothing less.
"The reason because we came here are not to help you, Nagato", said Queen Elizabeth in the meeting. "It's our commander's order to defeat the Orochi. If he asked to defeat you, then it will be."
"Don't take me wrong"
"Orochi is our problem and only Sakura Empire should deal wih it", said Nagato. "Your presence are nothing but bother."

"So childish", said Kawakaze and Warspite together, making Queen Elizabeth and Nagato shouted at them.
Well, that meeting isn't end very well but at least they come to an agreement about their plan.
"Can I ask your relationship with our commander, Zuikaku?", asked Wales kindly. "You seems to have his sword and he also has your sword. So, I'm very curious to know it."
"I loved to hear it too", said Queen Elizabeth. "Can I have a tea please, Belfast?"
Most of them are pressuring Zuikaku to tell them, even though Zuikaku feels very embarrassed to talk about it.
"I'm also curious about it too, Zuikaku", said Nagato. "Mind telling us."
Zuikaku literally gives up and tell them. It starts from the unfortunate incident when she has to fight the first cell alone as a bait after being ordered by Kaga and Akagi.
She managed to hold it, but it's almost cost her life. The moment she thought that she gonna died, Kay saved her and defeated the cell.
"I don't remember that well but I knew he saved me", said Zuikaku, remembering that moment. "At that time, I get that sword."
Nagato reacted furiously upon hearing that Akagi and Kaga forced her to act as bait. Such shameless action is beyond accepted for her.
"I'm very sorry, Zuikaku and Shoukaku", said Nagato. "I don't know that Kaga and Akagi are dare enough to give that order."
"It's alright, Nagato-sama", said Shoukaku. "Because of they order, we managed to met with him."
Their first meeting with Kay is not a coincidence and that fate changed everything.
"So, that's why you start following him", said Nagato. "Isn't that right, Shoukaku?"
Shoukaku looks away and refuses to answer her question. Looks liked her secrets already being discovered.
"Our second meeting are at Sakura Empire", said Zuikaku. "That time, I'm with Takao and we're very surprised to see him."
"Of course we're surprised", said Takao. "He literally barged into Sakura Empire liked nobody business."
That moment isn't end well for Sakura Empire as Kay suddenly puts Azur Lane flag at the sacred tree. They are very unhappy about that moment.
"That human basically just start another war with us", said Nagato. "That flag is an insult for us."
However, that flag turns up to be the one who protected them from the cell. It's the guardian sword that changed its shape to original form.
Zuikaku continues to tell them about her meetings with Kay until the moment when he collapse due suffers several damages from Orochi. She felt very guilty at that time since she is the reason why Kay got injured.
"Nobody will mad at you, Zuikaku", said Belfast. "That's entirely master fault."
"Yeah, he needs to be more careful next time", said Wales. "He always acts too reckless sometimes but that also a part of his charms."

"Sakura Empire managed to survive because of him", said Nagato, breaking the silent. "At that time, we feel very powerless and hopeless. Waiting for someone to save us."
"We're waiting for our guardian to return to us. Turns up that he already with us."
Kay fulfills his duty, not letting the cell touches any of these girls and Dragonoire puts a good fight against that cell.
"That's end really well until this girl, kisses him out of nowhere", said Prinz Eugen, asking for trouble.
Belfast and Wales stare at Zuikaku that already red as tomato.
"Heh...can I hear the detail please?", asked Wales.
"Yes, I also want to hear it from your mouth, Zui..ka..ku", said Belfast, pretty angry.
Zuikaku looks at Shoukaku, asking for help and only to be ignored by her sister. You're on your own, Zuikaku.
"Well, at least I give him a mark at his neck", said Prinz Eugen, asking for more trouble. "And that mark is still there."
"SO, YOU'RE THE CULPRIT!!", shouted Belfast and Wales.

A calm moment after the disaster, its pretty fun for Prinz Eugen although it was indeed a calamity for Zuikaku.

The next day, near to fallen city.
"Looks liked we don't need to force ourself to find Orochi", said Queen Elizabeth. "If Orochi itself is coming here."
The black ship, Orochi, slowly approaching the combine fleets. On top of it, there are Kaga and Akagi alongside with Observer.
Sakura Empire girls are clutching their teeth upon seeing their own allies are with the most hatred enemies, high-class sirens.
"Are your fleets ready to go, Cleveland?", asked Queen Elizabeth.
"We are ready to go!", shouted Cleveland. "We are waiting for your order, anytime and anywhere!"
"They don't need any warning right?", asked Queen Elizabeth to Nagato.
"Of course", answered Nagato. "They don't deserve to get any mercy from us. Our priority is to destroy Orochi and make sure to capture Kaga and Akagi. Too bad that they are still part of Sakura Empire."
"Then, what are we waiting for! All fleets, FIRE!!!", shouted Nagato and Queen Elizabeth.
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
Huge numbers of torpedoes, missiles and bombs are flying towards Orochi upon reaching their radius of attacks. They don't waste any time and start blasting. No warning fire whatsoever.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
"Did we managed to get a hit?", asked Nagato.
They look at the Orochi, only to see it remains unscathed as nothing happens. The strong barrier is surround Orochi, acting as a layer of protection.
"Of course not!", shouted Queen Elizabeth. "It can't be that easy. Well, we knew this is bound to happen. So, we already came prepared."
"There is no barrier that last forever."
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
"Impatience I see", said Akagi as she saw Sakura Empire and Azur Lane fleets kept attacking them without any sign to stop. "If you want to play liked that, so do I."
Akagi slowly raises her hand, trying to unleash the power from Orochi. The power to produce and control the sirens. The sound of teleporter as the sirens slowly coming out of nowhere.
"You can go wild, Purifier and Tester", said Observer. "Without that human, there is nothing can stop us now."
"Hahahaha...my time to have fun is finally arrived!!", shouted Purifier.
"So much trouble", said Tester. "But, this moment is pretty rare to have."
The real battle begins as each side deploy all their strongest strengths and powers. They reciprocate attacks against each other, using all the firepower in their disposal. Aircraft surrounds the area, dropping numerous bombs to the sea.
This war has nothing to do with humanity. It's a civil war against their own factions. A different opinion lead to this useless war. In fact, this is a war that has no direct meaning. They are at war because of differences of opinion in using technology that should not be mentioned.
They know but they are still stubborn and do not want to make it as a lesson for them. This war is the result of their own hands.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
"Don't flatter!!", shouted Nagato. "We are already experiencing worst than this battle! This battle is nothing but a cut for our memories!!"
Nagato gave words of encouragement to her fleets. Although they received a lot of attacks from opponents. It doesn't make them discouraged.
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
Zuikaku cut some torpedoes that came towards her using Rakurai. Zuikaku's speed should not be underestimated.
SLASH...SLASH...SLASH
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
"There is no end for us right now!!", shouted Zuikaku. "Do you have any idea, Eugen?"
"We have to deal with that barrier first", said Prinz Eugen while shooting the sirens. "That barrier is very annoying and we need to unleash an attack that strong enough to destroy it."
"Easy for you to say but that barrier didn't even barge even though we kept attacking it", said Takao. "We need more power."
"There is something you need to do, Zuikaku."
"The sword who you possessed already accept you as its master. However, there is no need for you to fuse it with your own power. His power is more than enough to paralyze that creature".
Zuikaku looked at Rakurai when she remembered what Wiseman had said to her at the throne. Zuikaku managed to stop The Cell when using it power for the first time. The power of Rakurai may be enough to break the shield that protects Orochi.
"Go for it, Zuikaku", said Shoukaku.
"Alright, Shoukaku-nee", said Zuikaku.
Zuikaku touched Rakurai, hoping its power was enough to break through the barrier. She makes an attacking stance, gathering all her energy to make a strong attack on Orochi.
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
Zuikaku opens her eyes and unleashing a single strike full of lightning element towards Orochi.
SLASH!!
CRACK...CRACK...CRACK...
The barrier has been destroyed, leaving Orochi unguarded.
"Well, this is very surprising", said Akagi. "However...that means nothing to me."
Akagi let out a scary laugh, signaling something dangerous was still hidden in Orichi.
"You may have destroy the barrier", said Akagi. "But the battle just begin! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP....
A massive shock wave unleashed from Orochi, making the girls paralyzed and unable to move.
"I can't move", said Belfast. "What's going on?"
"I'm also unable to move", said Wales. "Wait! Don't tell me!!"
"That technique is very familiar with you, am I right?", said Observer, seeing these girls suffer. "That technique is none other than your commander's ability. So, what do you think about it? I must said it's indeed impressive to see it."
"How dare you!!", shouted Wales as she struggles to move.
Sakura Empire and Azur Lane are struggling to move as the shock wave paralyzed them.
"This might a problem for us", said Prinz Eugen. "Let me guess, there is more right?"
"Correct", said Akagi. "While you unable to move...we have present to you."
A loud sound from Orochi as it released its main weapon.
"Remember that fallen city?", asked Akagi. "The damage is from this weapon. A weapon which capable to destroy target within extraordinary range."
"There are two main targets here and I think you already can guess it."
Nagato and Queen Elizabeth are shocked to find out where Akagi targets. None other than Sakura Empire and Azur Lane.
"Akagi! Sakura Empire is our home! What are you thinking?", shouted Nagato.
"Do you realized what are you doing, Akagi?", shouted Takao.
"It's for Amagi", said Akagi, destroying their hope to make Akagi changed her mind. "We will become family again."
"AKAGI!!!"
Kaga just watched Akagi, do what she wanted as she pleased. She even didn't bother to help her own alies to stop Akagi.
"Now, bid your farewell, Sakura Empire and Azur Lane", said Akagi.
"Wait!! Please Wait!!!"
BANG!! BANG!!
Orochi starts shooting its main weapon, ignoring the begging sound from Nagato and the others.
Tears fell from their eyes and despair surrounds them.
There are still people in Sakura Empire and Azur Lane, especially children.
With the strength of that missiles, their home will turn to ash.
They realized that if they managed to return home, only despair waiting them. Seeing their fallen comrades, laying down.

It's indeed their own fault, the problem they cause by their own hands.

Sakura Empire, the same time as the battle began.
Fusou and Yamashiro are the girls who decided to stay behind. They also being tasked by Nagato to look after Kay.
"Can you please go look at that human, Yamashiro?", asked Fusou. "I have something to do. Don't worry, I be back after I finish it."
Yamashiro nodded his head and continued towards Kay's room. She ran very happily, not knowing what had happened at the battlefield. When Yamashiro opened the door, she saw that Kay was no longer in the room.
Yamashiro felt strange and kept looking for Kay. When she looked outside the room, she saw Kay looking up at the sky.
Upon sensing that Kay saw Yamashiro, she smiles at him.
"You're awake, mister", said Yamashiro happily.
Kay pets Yamashiro's head, smiling at her. He doesn't say anything except left the area and going towards sacred tree of Sakura Empire.
He past through several girls in Sakura Empire and their reactions are surprised and confused.
"You're awake", said Fusou as she saw Kay walked towards sacred tree.
He walks past through her, walking straight to the guardian sword.
"I'm home", said Kay.
He touches the sacred tree, feeling emotional. Then, he looks at Dragonoire.
ROARS!!
"I have been waiting for you", said Dragonoire as he surrounds Kay. "There is something you need to do. Will you help them?"
"No need to ask, Dragonoire", answered Kay. "You already knew the answer."
