บท 18: I still can't believe it

He gave me an electrifying smile and nodded. I stepped beside him and he lowered his phone for me to see. He tapped on the trashcan icon and then tapped the word "delete." The hideous picture disappeared. Thank goodness... I thought he'd never delete my unattractive face, for sure, he'd never date me anymore, how embarrassing... he saw it with his own eyes. I glance up at him and I found him staring at me. His shimmering eyes were like glue, I couldn't look away. But he just stared at me unblinkingly. He's probably imagining my face a few minutes ago, the girl who sleeps like a mess.

Suddenly, he averted eye contact. He cleared his throat. "We should probably head down now. I'll cook us breakfast." He said, although his attention was on the clock then his eyes darted on the front door. I nodded in response even though he didn't saw me.
