Clive twisted the rope around with a wide smirk on his face.

"Come on then, what are you waiting for," Ares taunted him with a wild look. His muscled tightened, ready for his attack. But much to his expectations, the human walked to him rather than sprint.

Clive casually moved closer. His eyes roamed over him from head to foot. 'His muscles might look hard, but there seems to be substantial damage from Reya's blow on his stomach muscles. His legs even that look fine but his tendons are standing up more than before. So Reya's attack was efficient.' He smirked a little. The god's thick skin actually camouflaged his injuries, but he was able to see the muscle distortion below.

Ares frowned a little. "Stop wasting my time. If you don't attack then I will,"

"Please do. I feel better defending," Clive whispered. His special dagger had a horizontal hand hold, which easily helped him flip and rest the blade over his wrist. He tightly gripped the rope waiting for his attack.
