When I awoke the next morning, I realized with stupefaction where I was.

" Ying Yue, you idiot. How could you sleep here without a care in the world?" I subconsciously thought to myself. A maid came into the room at that moment and the atmosphere became even more awkward.

The maid gasped as she said, " My lady, I brought a change of clothes."

The maid handed me clothes to wear. Those clothes were made of silk with the finest fabric one could lay their eyes upon in the capital. Those clothes weren't fit for me at all and the position I was occupying.

I tried to smile so as not to sound awkward whatsoever. " Thanks for the gesture, but I won't need these clothes. I'll be going home to change."

The maid looked disturbed as I said that. " What's wrong?" Why do you look troubled?"

The maid hesitated before saying, " His majesty is the one who sent these clothes, my lady." If you wouldn't accept them, I'd be in trouble."
