บท 171: Chapter 167: Proof of Identity

Ying Jie was back in the dining room. The princess inquired regarding Ying Yue right away.

" How is it? Is Ying Yue joining us for breakfast?" She inquired straightforwardly. 

He responded in an invasive and unsure tone: " I don't know!"

Ying Yue's attitude is starting to worry me quite a lot. This shouldn't be this way. If this continues, I'm afraid--------

" Officer Ying Yue, what got your mind so occupied?" She inquired anxiously. She knew just by looking at him that he was utterly worried about something.

He changed the topic of discussion quite smoothly.

" I don't think she'll be coming for breakfast. It's preferable to leave her alone for some time". Those were the words he pronounced.

" We were making a joke which she took quite seriously. As a result of our foolish actions, she's not coming for breakfast". Her tone turned from anxiousness to sadness in the blink of an eye.
