Ying Jie's expression was reflecting anxiousness. Never did Officer Lui Xiang see his colleague and best friend in that state. He could tell he was anxious about something.

" I need to make a phone call!"

I hope you'll make things work out with your sister! Lui Xiang grinned.

Ying Jie hides in a corner and calls up his sister.

On Ying Yue's side

She heard her phone ringing but paid it no mind. It rang several times consecutively. As the ring was bothering her, she searched her phone through her bag to see who was the caller. She was stunned to discover who the caller was.

Ying Jie! Why is he calling me? What does he want to say? She subconsciously wondered.

On Ying Jie's side

Ying Yue, why aren't you picking up the phone? Are you that mad at me that you're not willing to give me a chance to explain things to you?
