บท 283: First Day Back (2)

There, at the door was Leo, his homeroom teacher looking at him with a smile.

"Why don't you go and have a seat? Class is going to start any second now!"

"Yes sir!"

With an elegant bow, Moby strode back to his all too familiar seat at the back of the class ignoring the whispers and glances of his classmates, looking slightly out the window before looking directly ahead of him at an empty desk. 

It was the desk that Abby usually sat in, seeing it empty made him feel a certain way yet he did not linger on it for long as he listened intently to what his teacher was saying.

"Good morning class! I said this the last time we were here and I'll say it again! This month has been something special, hasn't it? In all my years of teaching, nothing close to this has ever happened! I hope that it's not me who has been jinxing it to get worse every time... I would also like…"
