บท 197: Chapter 197
8 guards, fully clad in armor and a spear in their hands, are standing in front of a huge golden gate.
"Halt!" screamed one of them when he saw an unknown person approaching. However, once he saw the person's face, he and the other guards started shaking in fear. But even though they were scared, they were still able to point their spears at him.
"Azure Ken, Mary Geoise is forbidden for anyone without permission!" screamed another guard. But no matter how loud he shouted, his legs didn't stop shaking. The closer Ken walked towards the guards, the more they started shaking. Till he passed by them, and they all fell unconscious. Ken gently pushed the gate open and entered the Domain of the Gods where the World Nobles and their slaves reside.
He walked through the town, and everyone quickly noticed his presence. The slaves quickly went into hiding while a Celestial Dragon who was walking in the streets looked at him with disgust.
"Guar-"
Before he could get a single word out, his and his personal guards' heads flew into the air as their lifeless bodies sprayed blood like a fountain and fell onto the ground. Ken kept walking, not even sparing a second glance at the Celestial Dragon and his guards. It only took a couple of minutes before he got surrounded by hundreds of guards. However, all of them faced the same fate as the Celestial Dragon and his guards.
As Ken kept walking further and further into Mary Geoise, the streets became redder and redder with blood. Finally, Ken stopped walking and look at a guard covered in his comrades' blood as he was cowering on the ground.
"Lead me to where the Celestials are and I might let you live."
The guard didn't hesitate for even a split second. He quickly stood up and started leading Ken to the Celestial Dragons' houses. Every house they visited became a blood bath. He killed the guards that attacked him and all the Celestial Dragons that weren't kids. He kept visiting house after house, leaving a long path of blood behind him. Even the grim reaper would question whether he had a secret child once he saw this display of cruelty and death.
After finishing with 18 of the 19 families, he made his way over to the last one. When they arrived at the last home, he let the guard go, who immediately ran away as fast as his legs could muster. Ken walked through the already opened gate, which didn't have any guards guarding it. When he got close to the door, a person suddenly appeared before him, making him halt his steps.
"You really know how to make an entrance, Captain."
"Thank you for the compliment."
"So, what did you come here for?"
"A certain someone disappeared without letting me know. So I came here to teach that certain someone what happens when you do something like that," said Ken as he unsheathed Shusui.
"Is this really necessary, Captain?" asked Deuce as he took a big gulp. However, Ken didn't answer him and immediately went on the attack. He sent a giant sword slash towards Deuce. Deuce created a lightning wall and used it to block the slash, but he got kicked in the back after he successfully blocked the attack, which sent him flying.
He quickly turned around in mid-air and put his arms in front of his face, to block a kick, which sent him into the ground. Ken immediately sent another sword slash towards Deuce, which he managed to barely dodge, only for him to receive a kick in the gut, which destroyed the ground under them and most of the front yard.
"200 Million Volt Bari!"
Deuce grabbed onto Ken's leg and was about to send a tremendous amount of lightning into Ken's body when he suddenly noticed something unexpected. Instead of attacking him with lightning, Deuce kicked him away and quickly stood up.
"Ken, stop this! I need to te-"
"BAM! BAM! BAM!"
3 bullets suddenly landed near Ken's feet.
"Get away from my son!"
Ken and Deuce turned towards the door, where Deuce's parents and little sister are standing. His father was the one who shot the gun.
"Stay out of this old man! You're just going to get hurt for nothing!" screamed Deuce, but when he turned his head back to Ken, a fist was all that he saw as it got closer to his face.
Deuce looked shocked as his little sister suddenly appeared in front of him and blocked Ken's fist with her arms coated in Haki.
"You don't look surprised," said Louise to Ken.
"Why should I be surprised? Even though the two of you never got along, both of you would still have each others' backs. That's why we're family."
Deuce quickly kicked away Ken. He grabbed Louise and jumped back.
"Louise, what is this all about? Since when were you so strong and how do you two know each other?"
"You're such a fool. You must have fried your brains."
"Devon!"
Deuce immediately recognized her speech. Then, Louise started morphing into Devon, which shocked his parents.
"What's going on here! Where is my little sister?"
"She should be back home. That damned Sabo had me switch places with her to save your sorry ass. But Captain appearing here was definitely not part of the plan."
"Fuck, I'm about to throw up when thinking back to me calling you little sister."
"And how do you think I feel having to constantly hear you say it! I've already thrown up multiple times!"
"Cough, cough!"
They turned their heads towards Ken. They looked shocked as they saw Ken down on one knee coughing up blood on his hand.
"Ken!"
"Captain!"
Deuce and Devon quickly ran towards Ken. Deuce helped him stand up.
"Captain, you can beat or lecture me all you want later, but please let me take you to my room so I can check what's happening."
"Argh!" Deuce and Devon both let out a grown as an elbow hit them in the stomach.
"How dare you idiots make me worry. But, I'm glad that both of you are safe," said Ken as his eyes slowly shut close.
"Captain!" screamed Devon, worried that something bad happened.
"Don't worry, he is just unconscious. He should wake up soon," said Deuce. Devon let out a sigh of relief.
"Lewis, what are you going to do with that pirate? We should kill him now that we have the chance. And where is Louise?" asked Deuce's father.
"If any of you dare touch Captain, I'll skin both of you alive!" said Devon in a chilling tone. This made Deuce's parents both backed off and fell down from fear.
"I won't save you if you try anything, so stay out of this," said Deuce as he picked up Ken and took him into the mansion. Devon followed them and didn't stop glaring at his parents till they were out of sight. They arrived at Deuce's room, where he placed Ken on his bed.
"Your parents sure are bastards."
"They might be bastards, but they did try to save me, so you better not get any ideas."
"Whatever, I couldn't care less about them. But, more importantly, do you know what's going on with Captain?"
"I'm not sure, but what I've managed to sense with my lightning didn't look good. But don't worry, I'm the doctor of the Azure Pirates, there is nothing I can't heal."
