บท 256: The First Step

"... shall now commence into battle!!! Operation Hit and Run-- let the first step begin!!!"

Shizuka ran forward with her smaller body to easily dodge the men's reckless swings of their blades. Bowing down, she nearly escaped one slash that only grazed the tips of her long platinum-blonde locks.

Clicking her tongue, the female took note to tie her hair into a bun later on if she wanted to preserve her waist-length locks. When the man who missed his slash realised his mistake a little too late, the arm that held the sword flew away in a beat of a heart.

His eyes travelled down to where Shizuka had turned her body completely to face him, her sword in hand with a victorious smile gracing her features. "Got you~" Shizuka gave a soft smile that had a hidden meaning, slightly squinting her eyes at the man who was late to scream his pain.
