บท 61: I'll Love You Forever

You've checked on a few patients and then circle back to Helena. You're more than ready for her to have a piece of your mind and you know she'll be awake by now.

"Hey, how you feeling?"

"Ah, Dr. McPherson. I'm much better, thank you"

"And how's the baby doing?"

You swallow deeply as you say the words because it still feels like someone has stabbed you with a sharp knife through your heart.

"The baby's doing fine, thank you"

"So did you ask Dr. Fredrickson to operate on you?"

"Uhm, yes I did. Why?"

"Do you know what was wrong with you just now?"

"No? Please tell me"

"There was a cloth still left behind inside your body from Dr. Fredrickson's surgery. Do you know how dangerous that can be?"

Her eyes go wide and she covers her mouth with her hand in shock.
